So now that Alltel is acquired by VZW, what do you think are the chances that uscellular is going to get acquired?

I do not think its a terrible thing that Alltel has been acquired, this means VZW will have to sell off some of its spectrum in markets that already have VZW, hopefully USCC can pick up some new markets, I would say more of indiana, minnesota and possibly michigan would be a good acquisition.

Your thoughts?

So the other day I called USCC and i badgered at some representative and gave them a lot of crap that I have been dealing with with them. I told them (which is all true) that I called one time to tell them that their phone selection sucked and could i buy a phone from verizon and use with their network? I got THREE different answer. One was that sure, but it might not work with the network. Two was NO. and Three was: certain codes have to match, but yes i could. So then i asked if the glimmer that Alltel has is going to come out soon and they said yes, in about two weeks. I was relieved to hear an answer! so from a USCC representative, the GLIMMER (also known as the LG ax830) is coming out in about two weeks!

I recently added easyedge to my account friday...I expected to have to wait for the easyedge to work...maybe bout 2 hours. Well its been a few days now and I still cant access easyedge...does anyone else have this problem? does anyone know how to fix this?

I spoke with customer service yesterday and I was told that the Glimmer is all set to go (according to the guy on the phone, some locations have already received them). They hope to have them at ALL retail locations by the middle of June.

It will be $249.95 and is available for the current promotion (buy one get one for $50).

2.) SOMETHING GOOD RELATIONSHIP WISE CAME UP, AND I MIGHT BE MOVING TO PENNSYLVANIA AFTER THE END OF THE YEAR. IF I DO, SINCE US CELLULAR DOES NOT HAVE NATIVE COVERAGE THERE, WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO MY SERVICE? WILL THEY CANCEL MY ACCOUNT?

I just got off the Phone with customer service and I was asking when the Moto Q 9c was going to be in stores ..
June 10th is what she told me after having me on hold for a long period of time. I asked her after she gave me this info if she knew any thing about the curve and she said there had been alot of calls about that phone too and said it would be coming out around the same time !!

Last night was the season finale of Grey's Anatomy and I was admittedly pretty damn excited. During the commercial breaks though, the local news channel kept commenting on what their top story was going to be at 10 o'clock: a wireless carrier involved with misdirected 911 calls resulting in one fatality.

So, I kept the tv on after Grey's out of curiosity. Yup, US Cellular was the carrier. Awesome. Looking forward to people coming in today complaining...
