I have a Motorola Q that I purchased from USC in July of 07 on my personal plan. I canceled my personal plan and got on my employers plan. I can not use my Q because my employer does not want to pay the additional charges for the Data plan so I have since gotten another phone. I sold my Q to a friend that has Verizon. What do they need to do to switch it over??? They contacted Verizon and they state it wont work which is BS. I believe the phone just needs to be unlocked off USC network?? I called USC customer service and they were no help. Any ideas???? According to Verizon's web site they will accept any phone on there network as long as it is compatible which the Q is. HELP! ☹️

Can I force my phone to roam on USCC if i decide to go ahead with their service. Lets say if i dont get a signal in my apartment, can I force it to roam to verizon or sprint until i get a signal?

My razr unfortunately took a dip in the sink, the battery works, because i have tried it on my mom's cellphone, but the phone does not. My contract expires in sept, and afterwards i'll probably get one from my company. is there a website were i can find a cheap refurbished razr? i tried going to my local us cellular and they told me that a replacement is 400 and if i renew my contract its 225, which i don't see paying for 5 months. anyone help!!

I just read in the news that at@t/verizon bought up some of the 700mhz, which i understand its a frequency and that it could be better than what we're running now. would it be considered a lower frequency and would it provide better services(calls,data).

Also what s the white spectrum? From what i read its for data and google is thinking about taking it over because its unlicensed? It sounds like the FCC is studying it and plainly it just sounds cool 😎

i just got the rumor or ux260 w.e you want to call it. and i got the unlimted easyedge thing but my phone wont connect to it. it will sit there and that blue/red circle thing will mover for 5 mins and then i just end up hitting the end button and it says it cannnot connect to easyedge. help cause i wanna use all the free crap you get with unlimted

Well the dumba$$ that ran my credit at the original us cellular store near my house, put the wrong social, because I went to another store and when they tried EVERYTHING to look up the credit check, they couldn't...so the man told me that they probably used the wrong social. So he re-ran my credit, and WOO HOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 50.00 Deposit. Now that sounds better!!!!!! :-)

The only thing I wish that was cheaper with USCC is the Data plan for the blackberry pearl.

QUESTION: Does uscc offer discounts to customers that work for big corporations... I know I get 15% off for SPRINT and VERIZON...but IDK about USCC.

Ok. So I RAN!!! From sprint because I was sick of their B S......

So Until I could figure out what I wanted to do I ported my number and got Go Phone Pick Your Plan with AT&T.....

I love the at&t service, BUT they want to big of a deposit.

My mom has US CELLULAR and she was going to cancel it, because she is out of contract and has verizon now with her bf.

She would keep HER contract with Us Cellular and just let me pick a phone. BUT what I want to do, it transfer my number from at&t to her account because I have SOOOOOO much associated with the phone number.

Since it's prepaid, I still have an account number, and my name is on it...but I think I could change that to her's if nessessary...

Someone please shed light on this...

Does anyone have it in their blackberry?

Can anyone tell me what happens at the end of a 2 year contract, do you have to sign a new contract or will the old one just stay in force as long as the bill is being paid? I'm located in Illinois 61071.

Can anyone explain to me what is going on with the call center hold times? It used to be that the hold times were always less than 5 minutes no matter when you called in. Over the past 2 months, hold times when I have called in have been more than 15 minutes.

I know, you are thinking why be on hold for that long. I have had issues with my new (less than two months old). I have had to swap it out within the first week, and send it in to have a software update done...which actually caused more problems and didn't even solve the original problem!

Ok so can someone please tell me for sure if and when its coming out,I have about a week before my 30days are up.

I'm in love with US Cellular!!!!!! I'm sad I don't have their "service" anymore!!! Seriously, I know it sounds like I'm bashing them sometimes, but I'm just expressing my sadness. 🙂
