Hi, I am looking to upgrade my phone to a BB Perl. I do not want to pay for BB service. On the web sight, it appears that you do not have to pay the extra $39.99 month. Is this true?

So I stoped by one of the local corp stores to ask some questions about my account including some about data and they had no clue what I was talking about.
I was trying to find out if they were allowing tethered usage yet. The rep had no idea what I was talking about I told her I wanted to use my phone as a modem she did not know and no one at the store could answer the question. There only suggestion was to call the small business lines and ask about "one of those cards".
I know tethering can be done & works & is allowed by most other carriers with the correct plan.

I also asked if they were testing or would role out EVDO this year and was told they has no idea on when it would be available or if it was even being tested.

1. Customer service is not that great. US Cellular built itself on a reputation of customer service, but has lost a good portion of what once made it special.

I used to frequent the US Cellular in Aurora on Farnsworth, which is a company store. Since they let go of their sales manager a couple of months ago, service has become terrible. I walk in and nobody even looks up from their internet for at least five minutes. Then, when I pull out my Blackberry and start to ask questions about problems I am having with it, they immediately tell me call smartphone support. I have recently heard that US Cellular will be launching a version of the W385(a device they currently cary in silver) in the Plum color. What does this mean? Will it be shiny or flat. Smooth or textured? and Plum sounds to me like an ugly color. Royal purple sounds better even viloet but when I think of plum I think of that ugly bad tasting fruit that looks kinda like somebody pooped on purple.

what's up with not puting the right pics of are phones on here.In the 565 pic you can see a sprint logo come on. I know uscell is a small company but you don't have to make us look bad. I know its a littel work and we relly don't have many phone that are Exclusive but we wait till all the bugs are worked out befor we buy. Wich is more then i can say for verizon or at@t. Don't even get me stated on the crap that is the 8500 (the first chocolet that verizon had) i was a verizon rep and we had so many of those phones come back. it personla stroped trying to sell that phone till they came out with 8550.

I see they are opening some new stores. I think somewhere around 10???? It looked like they were in smaller cities. They should expand to larger populations and kick the crap out of those on The Dark Side!!!! I know this costs money, but they don't spend nearly enough on marketing, so they should have plenty. I think "the marketing department" sucks. They have produced 1 or 2 good commercials in the past 2 years!! Wow!!! I'm almost ready to beg them to bring back The Joan.

Is the Lg ux260 coming out with a new color, Other compaines have a small variety of colors. Alltell has orange, Sprint has white,silver (i think) green

If they are working on any new Nokia phones? I have a Nokia 6265i that I love dearly (I do need to get it reflashed though) and I am hoping that they will come out with a N series phone (preferably the N95 or N96)

Hi all. Just saw on the LG web site that the U.S. Cellular branded phone is being displayed. There is a great demo too that you can go though...even shows U.S. Cellular-specific items such as Easyedge.

I want a....touch screen, FLIP open, qwerty phone that does NOT REQUIRE a data plan. 😎 (lg voyager?) It seems to me that technology is going this way and it also seems to me that when uscc DOES finally get something comparable to the iphone or voyager, it will be obsolete. My unlimited incoming minutes is really the only thing that vzw does not have and thats what keeps me from switching. Any phones with the above features coming soon? LG rumor is a teenie bopper phone. I want STYLE! 😉

Hello, How does USCC work in St. Louis, Mo. Any bad areas? I know someone that is going to be there for a while and they are looking at getting prepaid so they are not locked into contracts. It will be between verizon and USCC. If USCC works good in st. louis, USCC's prepaid looks a lot more attractive then verizons.
