Are best buy stores getting alot of tours?

is this a smartphone, and if so is it windows, i see on one site it says its HTML but when i go to another, its just the basic crappy normal phone browser

So i have used alot of different carriers and in Michigan, Nextel, Alltel, Verizon, AT&T. Verizon, Alltel, and AT&T are the best in my experience.

That being said I signed up with Verizon again coming from Alltel. I got a deal to upgrade my 2 lines early with Verizon. Why not I am going to be Verizon soon enough right? I had them 3 or 4 years ago and expected nothing close to my calling issues especially with a BB Curve.

I have noticed an UNBELIEVABLE number of dropped calls. I was on US 131 a major highway between Grand Rapids (2nd largest city) and Traverse city. Now Alltel had great coverage here as did Verizon.

I have a buddy who works on the east side of the state and has issues on I-75 for a 15-20 mile stretch as well.

I cannot decide if I want to pre-order the tour or wait a while to see if any bugs need to be worked out.  It sounds like an amazing phone! I had purchased a curve not so long ago off of ebay but really want the latest and greatest. What would you do? What benefits does the tour have that the curve does not?

OK. I called verizon to cancel my contract without etf per the customer agreement. My administrative fee is going up and the customer agreement states that any adver change the etf can be waived.

I was told by the first supervisor who was very rude that he would credit the account and therefore I would not longer have an adverse change but would not waive etf. The second person i spoke to stated that administrative fees do not count and that it is only for contract changes.

is this all true??? this sounds very shady...it plainly states any adverse change a customer can call within 60 days of notificatino and have the etf fee waives.

Hey All ! ! !

Been a couple years since I've posted here. Question: Eligible for upgrade 7-19. Can I get HTC Ozone without data plan? If I have to get data plan to get phone, can I cancel plan and keep using the Ozone for voice only.

Also, this phone has been on sale at VZW web site for a week or more. How come there is no information about it on Phonescoop.

I have had an EVDO broadband card for a long time on VZW and am grandfathered in to the 'unlimited' data plan.

I am not under contract as my current device is over 2 years old.

Does anyone know if I can get a MIFI to replace the current card and maintain my current plan with it's unlimited status? When you get a new device do they make you agree to the current data bucket scheme? Is the Mifi treated the same as a replacement card or dongle??

Also - would appreciate any thoughts on using the EVDO vs other options.

Ok, so I've heard the rumors about the Omnia 2 and Touch Pro 2, Omnia being middle (18th?) of the month, and Touch Pro 2 being near the end (22nd?), and I'm hating the rumors on this one.

Does anyone know for a fact what days these two phones are launching? Thanks for any actual information.

Let's see, I have been a Verizon customer for the last 7 years. Their coverage from my stand point is just as good as anyother carrier.

But their phones seem to be about two years behind some of their other carriers.


Everytime I see a commercial for the Iphone, I say, "Where's Verizon's challenger to the Iphone'? Please don't even mention the "Storm" or the other 3 models that are out now.

Here in Gainesville, fl. and most parts of the United States that are not covered by mangroves, most carriers will work find.

Right now I have a Verizon Dare, AT&T gophone Razor, a Boost phone and they all were great here.

But the "Apps" that run on the Iphone seem to blow away Verizon's poor apps following.

This is the 2nd phone I've bought off Ebay for VZW that I can't use. 😡
1st one the guy said it was free and clear. When I tried to activate it VZW told me it was reported stolen. The seller said he picked it up from a garage sale, he refunded my $$.
2nd one was from a power seller with 100% feedback and I specifically asked if the phone was free and clear. Get the phone and it comes up as still active on some one else's account. Currently trying to get a replacement or refund.
😡 I never had this problem with GSM phones. 😡

I am going to be adding a line to my current family plan for my son. He just needs a basic phone I am just going to activate a backup phone that we already have for him. My line and my wifes are not due for upgrades anytime soon. My question is are we able to purchase a phone at the new contract price since we will be adding a line or would only the new line be eligible for an upgrade?

I like the storms touchscreen but not so much the clicking. The tour will be out soon and what I like about that is the qwerty keyboard but only if it was touchscreen also. (ugh sprint exclusive should end now and verizon should get the pre, best of both worlds)Is the tour that great of a phone to get over the touch screen storm? 👀

You know how verizon makes you sign up for an email/ data plan when u buy a blackberry?? If you get one through a third party and activate... would they still make you sign up for this plan?? Thanks.
