I think this will be my last post on this site well at least my last thread ! I am going to make my own cell phone news and rumors site and I surely won't delete peoples post's this is America and I surely like my freedom even though we surely don't have much of it left!! Hey I transfered all my contacts via the Vodaphone SIM card that came with a BB Storm. Was I only able to do this because the GSM side of the Storm was unlocked? Or can you do this with any dual band BB?

What's going on guys? I wanted to know if the BB Tour for VZW has Instant Messenger on it already installed? I haven't been with VZW for a while and I'm switching form ATT for the Tour. Just want to know the basics. Thanks.

I'm tired of Verizon's business plans changing daily solely on the claims of AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile.

A week or so ago, we totally revamped part of the store simply to integrate the half-word "app" into everything. Before the iPhone, we didn't bother much with device comparisons, and now with every phone release it seems we need to compare it to an iPhone or Pre. Also, because AT&T claims to have more smartphone customers than any other company, sales reps have to change the way they naturally sell to integrate PDA phones into each and every conversation, even when it's 95-year-old Betsy asking for a Samsung Knack and a car charger or 10-year-old Britney who's mom simply wants to get her a basic, cheap phone.

Good service here but a stupid decision to not offer the Tour preorder for upgrades. I've been a customer for over 10 years and was just told this by customer service. What a ridiculous decision on their part. I can say that this might make me bolt but the alternatives are not too good around here.

Got a used Lg Dare and tried to activate but was told that it cannot be activated. They said I need to have a new plan to activate this phone? Anyone know if this to be true? Old plan is three years old. I feel like they are a little bullish on this idea..

I am considering upgrading one of my lines to an Envy Touch. So I decide to check out the reviews of the phone here on Phone Scoop. I come across this gem:

"Let me start off by saying the only reason I'm giving this a 4.5 instead of a 5 is because I've only had it a few days."

I'm sorry, but...What?! No, no, no, no, no. Really... Seriously... WTF?! How is this relevant to the review of the phone?!
YOU decide to review the phone prematurely and this is the phone's fault?! All I could do was gape at the words. I was STUNNED! The only saving grace is that one has the opportunity to grade the reviews.

With the announcement of the BB Tour prices of the BB Storm have started to fall.
Now the question is which one to get, especially with reviews about the new Storm software being positive. And oddly enough the Storm is thiner than the Tour.

I paid the $35 for unlimited City ID and Back up assistant is free for myverizon subscribers.

I want to know what happens if I change to say a Blackberry which both of those apps aren't compatible with. Would I loose my unlimited subscription to City ID and have to pay the fee again if I went back to a non smart phone?
What about back up assistant, do all my phones numbers stay there and if I went back to the non smart phone I could just run back up assistant or would I have to go through the whole reg...

So Thursday night my wife and some of her friends go out for dinner and drinks down on the main line, outside of Philly. The whole MJ and Farrah dying thing came to light about the same time. So my wife and 2 of her friends decide to look up some details on CNN.com. My wife has a Curve with VZW and 2 of her friends have 3g iPhones. For the entire 3 hours that they were at the restaurant neither of the iPhone user were able to connect to the internet, her curve of course has no problem.
Yet another story of how BB trumps iPhone.

I am planning on adding a line to my account, and I am undecided on the phone. This is currently the only thing holding me back. I really want to get the Samsung Alias 2, but then I also am interested in the ENV 3. Camera quality (based on specs) is one of the biggest differences that I've been able to note between the two phones. I am a HUGE Samsung die hard, and I've only used samsung phones for the last couple of years. My questions are, what kind of quality will I get with an LG phone? Is it possible once I add the line to do an ESN swap and use the new phone on my existing line and give the new line my current phone? The pricing on the two phones online is roughly a $70 discount...am I getting the best price versus going to a ret...
