well my wife and I have blackberry storms and are looking to save some money...uncertainty in the economy...but anyway.......we don't really wanna change carriers, thought about it but #1 etf is way to high right now and #2 just dont really have a need to been with VZW for years.


we want a phone with functionality similar to our storms...touch screen a plus, need great battery life, web browser, facebook app would be a plus, aim, yahoo and push email or at least pop email.

do any phones that do not require the $30 data plan do all that? We thought about dares but haven't gotten much info from folks on them and all of the data makes our head spin...we are looking for used phones nothing incredibly pricey...

When they couldn't explain why my bill was prorated into 3 separate months when I didn't change my plan and then my mobile to mobile was going against my minutes. Thats one of the 525,600 reasons I switched.

Hey guys, so what is going on with the iphone? Ive been hearing rumors of it, but no confirmation. My guess its not coming over now because they just brought out a new one at AT&T and heard they resigned the contract with Apple. Sorry to bring it up again, but just wanted to know whats up with it.

Ok, I think it might be time for me to give up the ole star tac. No matter how many batteries I throw at it, none of them last more than 2 calls anymore.

I have another line that I have had a few different phones in the last few years, none of which I have been pleased with.

First and foremost I NEED Great Reception. I need a loud Ringer, and loud speaker (listening near ear, and speaker phone) the last few phones I had I could barely hear on, or hear ring.

I find Motorola is good for reception, and loud enough for me, but I read nothing good about motorolas lately. My last LG sucked, so I am not sold on that.

What do you guys recommend? I want a flip or clam shell phone, but like I said, reception, and loud ring, loud speaker a...

Has anyone else had serious problems w/ the Samsung Sway u650 phone? I tell ya', the first one restarted itself all the time when opening messages after ending phone calls. The next three all had this weird screen problem, pull the phone off charger, open slide, and wammo' the screen would have all this white haze on it? I think it's about time VZW pulled this phone out of the line-up?

What can and cannot be done with a VZW Netbook? I take it you cannot make calls, but can you send SMS or MMS messages?

I am new to netbooks, so please forgive my ignorance. 🙂

Hopefully the URI works. Anyways, reading into this he kinda' side-steps the whole Android on Motorola & iPhone items. Obviously Android (Google) would be a bone of contention because VZW is up Microsoft's rear end what with WinMo & signing search deals with them but what's the point of being afraid of them? Let's face it WinMo runs as good as Windows Vista on a dual-core PC... You know, try to delete a file from your desktop and you get that annoying message that stays there for five mins indicating that it's deleting nothing.....

Plain and simply... where does the memory card go? I have the verizon XV6900 and it says expandable memory on this site but I cant find where to put the card anywhere. Any help would be appreciated.

👀 Is it me or do I always get the snotty mean reps on the phone when I call verizon for assistance! Just because you are number one doesn't mean anything! Soon to be 2 again with the iPhone 3gs release! I mean SPRINT has better customer service come on verizon. Maybe there is a certain time I should call verizon.
