Anyone successfully using a Parrot kit and XV6800?

I am interested in the Parrot CK3200 LS-COLOR or an equivalent brand that works well and sounds good to the remote person when using an XV6800.

I want a hard-wired kit that connects to the radio and works with the auto-mute feature of my radio. I have a 2002 Ford Explorer.

Any recommendations?

upgrade time...new BB storm .148 or omnia

I know all of that one more business oriented email stuff....both will have the programs I need for the hospital. Both have good cameras. Both have internet etc. My main question is which is more responsive and acts more like a "normal phone" when calling and texting?? The email advantage is not really relevant for me either. I have heard the new update for the storm really helped with general speed. What would you guys do?? Thanks in advance!

PS I dont want to wait for a newer pda to come out as they will be a couple hundred more up front and I dont want to wait months....

just upgraded to .148 OS

And I love it, but then again, I wasn't having any issues on the .75 version either. Have had the phone since Jan 4, 09 and have never had a problem with it. My boyfriend has one also, just got it two months ago and he was a "NEWBIE" to pdas/blackberrys. He had the normal, didn't know how to work issues, but now is doing good. The new OS opens more keyboard options while in landscape, can have full keyboard now. I typed a SMS to myself without looking at the keys and I didn't have one misspelled word when I received it. The screen seems to flip faster also when going to portrait from landscape. Gives you alot more options also. I recommend doing the upgrade via cable and desktop manager, took about 45 mins total. Tried doing it via w...

Software Help!! 8700!

Ok so here is my scenario. I acquired an lg 8700 that has been flashed to Cricket. When the phone is powered up it shows no signal. I have tried using our little software update machine here in the store to no avail. Is there anything special that needs to be done in order to get the phone functioning on verizon again?

LG Glance

So we just got the dummy version of this phone in our store. Anyone see a live model yet?

The "woven metal back" is kind of strange, but I know a lot of people will like that. Other than that, this looks like a really slick phone. I think that it will be a pretty decent seller around here, and even better in some of the stores closer to higher-income customers.

It's a lot smaller than I thought it would be, but it still feels really good in your hand and the phone numbers are a decent size.

I can't wait to get a live one in store to see how the "joystick" works.

What do the other reps (especially any that have seen the phone in person) think of it?

New Plan Options/Additions?

Hi Everyone,

I am just curious...being that Verizon often leads the industry in various aspects...are any plans in the works or on the way to include more features in plans? For example...offering VZ Navigator with Blackberry Data (I ask that imparticular because my wife and I have storms haha)....or any other items in the works? Tmobile I think just uped all of there minutes.

Just curious and know lots of folks on here seem to have inside info..thanks!

Are there any in store technicians on here that work for Flextronics? I was just wondering...I am trying to get out of the sales game and have an interview Thursday to work for them at a VZW location. Can you shed some light on the company? Interview processes...pay...etc?

OK, now that Verizon is here in Charlottesville...

As of yesterday, May 31st, Alltel was gone and Verizon was in charge.

I've got the cellular part of my ex-Alltel service squared away with Verizon. Now, will Verizon be offering their Fios cable service for Internet and television as well? And a land line alternative? I would prefer to have all of my communications services on one bill if it's cost-effective. I hear nothing but great things about Fios from my friends in the DC market who have it, and as far as landline is concerned, we only have a minimum plan with Embarq, so it would just be convenient to switch it over.

Any information from anyone out there about these issues?

Verizon Wireless Network Extender

Will it work without a GPS signal? ๐Ÿ˜•

Seems (to me anyways) kind of stupid the instructions tell you to place the extender near a window for GPS.

How many people have their router, CAT 5 cable running to a window. And for better coverage wouldn't you want to put the extender somewhere central, not too many windows in the center of houses these days?

Maybe I could get my landlord to put a sky light in. ๐Ÿ˜Ž

New customer with own equipment

I was given a BlackBerry 8330 from someone who used it previously on Verizon. The ESN is clear. I know that Verizon has a program where you can bring your own equipment (as a new customer) and be able to activate it without a contract. What is the name of this program? Some of the Verizon Rep's don't seem to know about it, so I want to refer to it by name when I call in to activate.

Ques for VZW Corp. Employees...

We are switching from Alltel to VZW in about 8 weeks. My question is this...... With Alltel my wife, and friends can call my Alltel provided business phone.

With VZW I have "heard" that I will have to carry a second phone as my wife will not be allowed to call my corp phone. They said that they monitor that very closely..

Anyone want to provide any truth or myth to this?

Thanks
