i had to go back to my origional env just recently and i was wondering if that phone is able to use a high capacity memory card at all. i know the specs for the phone on this website says it can take up to a 4gb card but i can't get mine to work at all in it.

So maybe it's a Samsung thing or it's just the new Alias 2. But I take the same SD card from my LG Dare loaded with my working MP3 ringtones and put it in my new Samsung Alias 2 and it doesn't see my ringtones. 😡

Any help, do I have to use a different format, size, etc for Samsung phones? 😕

Hey guys here's a decision question i need your help with. Now my phone is acting up the same way it did before. The problem is when i get down to the bottom of contacts list, it keeps scrolling to a blank area and then goes back to end of list and keeps doing the same thing. My previous chocolate (same phone) i had gave me the same issue too. What should i really do? Because i am concerned that backup assist won't back it up properly to the network. Should i get it warranty replaced again or i have this LG 5400 phone that i can switch to, so should i switch to this instead?

I have been in the wireless industry about 14 years and I believe that Netbooks will change the tide of the industry. I don't think that Dell and HP can move enough of their product through traditional channels. We will change the way that they do business. I have been telling my guys for the last few months that Netbooks will Rock the industry as we know it. Verizon has announced that they will have a netbook in their lineup as soon as the end of June. Okay, so I am ready to update my phone and come into the newer technology style phones. However, I have no clue about any of this stuff. I am hoping someone can help me and explain the different types of phones - you know - PDA vs Blackberry vs Smartphone vs dumbphone. I know about the touchscreens as I purchased my son the Dare and I've checked out his phone. But that is about all I know. I do text quite a bit and think the "querty" keyboard is pretty neat. Also, what is up with having to pay "extra" for a data plan? Is that necessary to use the internet?
My other issue is I just can't seem to justify paying $250 and over for a new cell phone? Is that wrong? I see lots of phones for sale on sites such as ebay and craigslist, but...

I just tried registering the BB Storm I purchased last night from a "premium retailer" and the Blackberry internet site said the phone was attached to another account.

What gives??

My contract is about up and I have the Dare right now. I absolutely hate texting on this phone. The qwerty keypad is completely unusable for my huge hands. I had the enV before this one. Wish I could still get it. Screen size is a big deal. Any suggestions?

I am finally 100% satisfied with my handset and service. I have the BB Curve that I wanted with Sprint but their BB Curve doesn't have MMS capabilities 🙄 . I love that I can log into MyVerizon go under Spam Controls and block phone numbers from calling or texting. That is the best feature ever!!! Im a playgirl so when I get tired of a guy I can block him. 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 I was just kidding guys. Im a good girl. 😉 Anyway, I just hope the upgrade to the 8330 will be available in pink as well.

I've gotten mixed responses to this question. I'm on a family plan with Alltel, 2 of the 4 plans being up for upgrades, the other 2 under contract. When will I be able to upgrade to a Verizon phone without having to cancel my current plan and opening a new account with Verizon? So basically, when is Alltel going to be completely absorbed? Anyone have an opinion on which brand has the BEST screen protector? I have the Dare and the Verizon screen protector is horrible. Smears, smudges, fingerprints and air bubbles. I would really appreciate any opinions. I've seen Zagg & Boxwave mentioned. Any better then these?

Does anybody have the latest on the Motorola A455 the Rival? I heard it was being released really soon. I am trying to find out the price and release date. Also if it looks to be a comparable replacement for the Voyager. My contract is up soon and this one seems really interesting. I like the idea of the slide out qwerty. Hi, I have a Verizon Wireless prepaid account/phone/number, and I seek to get a different and much better phone, but still to keep the same prepaid account/number. However, the Verizon phones that are available for strictly prepaid use are very limited and not very good. So, I am thinking of getting a non-prepaid phone from eBay and activating it for prepaid use. But I am not sure how feasible that is.

Therefore, I wonder if anyone here can advise me as to what non-prepaid Verizon phones can be used for prepaid use so that I can look for the right phone on eBay.
