I have a question.

I hate asking questions, but I need to know as soon as I can, so please help me if you can! 🤭

Okay, maybe a little over a year ago, my mom got the original enV. She kept it until around January or February of this year and she loved it, but she discovered the [original] Voyager and fell in love all over again, so she went and got one. Right around this time, my brother's old RAZR starting messing up (surprise, surprise, right? 😛), so my mom gave her enV to him. Well, his two-year contract was up on the 20th so he went and got the new Voyager [I'm still not sure if it's considered the Voyager 2, but I don't think it is] and now he's giving me the enV. I won't get the phone until tomorrow or Saturday and I was talking to my mom about ...

Quick Question

Yo, this might be a stupid question but o well. The at&t store down here in SC allows you to get a new phone at a 2 year contract price for 75 bucks more, even if your still under contract. I was wondering if verizon has something like that going on without buying a phone at full retail. I got the voyager right now but I think its time for a smart phone and I was looking at a blackberry curve or storm.

What Phone should I buy?

I am switching over to Verizon soon. I'm a contractor so I would like something sturdy.I prefer a flip phone w/speaker and voice activated if possible. The main thing I'm after is good reception, good voice, speakers.I don't care about texting, music, web, camera or any of that other stuff. I want to receive and make calls hear and be heard.

Verizon Halts Glyde Sales. Anyone know why?

Just saw this on engadget and I was kind of curious as to what was going on with this device.

Link to Article:
http://www.engadgetmobile.com/2008/10/26/verizon-hal ... »

Article Cut and Pasted:
We're not sure if these are like intimacy issues, magazine issues, or technical issues, but Verizon has put out a vaguely-worded all points bulletin to its employees saying that the Glyde's somehow screwed up and should be pulled off shelves immediately. In fact, the situation's so bad that Big Red won't even let you have a Glyde back if you send one in for service -- they want to give you an enV2 in its place (though it says in the memo that customers throwing a hissyfit over the switcheroo can be provided with s...

Transfer service to Inpluse

Hi,

Real quick summary - My wife has a verizon pay per month account that she has had for many, many years and her original phone is way too old and is dying. It needs replacing. Buying a new phone is a horrible option because of the cost. We do not want to sign up for a new account because we want to keep the same number plus her deal is a very good one...

My question is - Can I buy the "Verizon Wireless Inpulse Samsung U340" from Target for $29.99 and not activate it, but rather transfer her current account/number to this new phone. I read a few places online that you could. So I had full intentions of doing that. But I just happened to walk past a verzion store and I stopped in to ask that question. They said NO. They said stores l...

Another voyager question...

Howdy everybody,

It looks like I'm going to be sticking with verizon.

I traded the boulder for the voyager last week and so far I absolutely love it; but I can't seem to find answers to a question or three. Can anyone help?

1) is there a way to use speakerphone without it having to be open?

2) is there a way to retrieve data from a mini-sd card that was used with my old sprint phone, or is that data in some way have some kind of coding on it from Sprint that prevents the vzw phone from reading it? (If so I understand just curious)

3)An associate of mine just got this phone too, switching from a bb curve. She has I belive a 4mb mini-sd card and showed me close to 500 songs she had. She said her husband was able to take those o...

*228 option 3

Did anyone use this today since it came out?? I couldn't find much info in Onesource/Infoman about how it works. Does the customer dial it from the phone they want to activate? From what I read it pulls the ESN # without having the customer look it up. I was wondering how the customer would be able to put in letters thru an IVR especially with letters A-F.

Motorola w755 speakerphone echo

I have the Motorola w755. When I use the speakerphone on my end it sounds great, but the person I'm talking to hears a terrible echo. (his or her voice being repeated). Does anyone have this problem? How do you fix it? This is the second phone. Thanks.

What's with the size of phones now?

When cell phones first started getting carried by the common person (early 90's) they were still pretty big. Not quite the freaking huge bricks of the 80's, but still big. Then with the advent of digital phones, they started getting smaller. Most people agreed that smaller and lighter is better. It's just easier to carry in a pocket.

But now it seems like many of the new phones are getting big and bulky again. I really like the new Moto Krave, but it's pretty big to carry in a pocket (at least compared to my current phone). I guess it's because everyone wants big screens and full qwerty keybords. Those things are nice, but I'd prefer a smaller over-all size to stick in my pocket. Anyone else feel this way, or it it just me?

New Verizon Family Plan w/ Data

Anyone know if Verizon ever plans to come out with a Family plan to include data (like what Sprint has for $129). Both my wife and I have phones w/ data and I need to start cutting costs on things considering I may be out a job soon with all my company's pending layoffs. I prefer to have Verizon's premium quality service, but have to consider switching to sprint to save $50 more a month and get more features bundled in with the data plan. I am interested in upgrading to the Touch Diamond Pro and I know VZ will have it in Dec most likely. But to spend $600 more per year on service, I need to re-evaluate my priority of whats important to me now. I really like Verizon's service, but I wish they would be a little more competitive in price rathe...
