I searched the site, but most of the posts related to this seem to be from before Verizon said something about using non-verizon phones. Well, that's what I understand "Any apps, any device" to mean, but I'm not really sure it does.

Here's what I wanna know... can I buy a CDMA phone, from ebay or craigslist or other, and have it work on Verizon?

And/or, if I have an old/used Blackberry that was on Verizon but is now out of contract (someone else's contract), can I use that phone on my contract? If so, would I need a data plan ('cause I don't need one)?

Before some of y'all go on about why it's useless to have a blackberry sans data, it's not useless for me.

I have a question:

I am a secondary line on a family plan and the main line is eligible for a discout, however i am not. Is it possible for me to get the phone through the main line and transfer the phone to my line? please help i want the palm centro -- for those who have it - is it a good phone?

Is there a way to get software 4.5 onto the curve. The website for vzw only shows 4.2 or something.

It appears that there are only 9 applications available for this phone right now.

Take a look at Tools & Applications: Browse for the ZN4 and I only see 9 applications on the Verizon website. When those are all installed, then the catalog comes up empty.

When you install these 3 products under Best Sellers it wants to error out with "Unable to retreive category list".

annoyed at the people who come into complain about DSL, their landline long distance, etc. You tell them that you are a Verizon Wireless store and that you can't help them (but offer to point them in the right direction) and they still feel the need to complain about their landline to you?

I get at least 10 a day. It's only really annoying on Mondays when I'm lucky to have 20 customers.

Hello all, this is my first time back to this site in a while, and I was wondering if anyone out there had any words of wisdom for me at this point. I've been a content Sprint customer for the last 5 years. I have been using the Sanyo scp 8400 for the last 2, and it's on it's last leg. It has been a great phone, has proved durable, reliable and I've rarely found myself without coverage. Sprint has tremendously improved their customer service in recent years so I've really had nothing to complain about. I however have been looking to upgrade my phone for the last few months. Good afternoon fellow Verizoners!! I just got the brand new software update V11 for the titanium voyager. However, i do not notice any difference to the phone. I thought this update was supposed to bring the virtual keyboard for texting and the drag and drop feature like the Dare. Can someone please hel me tell me why I am not getting these updates. Also what other updates are supposed to come with this latest flash. Thanks everyone for their inputs. 😁

I have the pink Curve and I love it....BUT every so often I have to pull the battery b/c I can't hear. I know people with pink Curves & Pearls with the same issue. Is there any software upgrades to stop this or is it the curse of the pink??

My folks are thinking of getting Verizon or Metro PCS, and they live in the Tampa area (go Rays!). How's Verizon's coverage in that general Tampa Bay area?

I know I ask this every couple of months, but after my Boulder debacle/return, I've decided to just hold out with my scrappy, formerly-duct-taped-now-Superglued LG 8300 until it either dies completely or Verizon has something out there I want.

So, any tips on new releases for the holidays or early 2009? Again, I'm looking for a flip-phone with camera. I hated the Boulder and haven't been convinced by Adventure, so "rugged" may no longer be a priority. (8300 has lasted quite well, and I'm rough on my things).

Music and internet are completely unneccesary for me.

After 4 years with Verizon, I recently ported my number to another carrier. I actually did that around the third day of my billing cycle. I called Verizon customer service and hoped to get refunded for the unused days in that billing cycle. I was told I would be charged for the full billing cycle anyway. Really disappointed by this policy. Is there anything I can do? Thanks.

I would greatly appreciate if all the new BB Curve owners would let me know how they like the phone. Some of my phone must haves include: can text while on a call, can recieve calls while on the web, great battery life, and loud speaker/ringers. Thanks....appreciate it......

It would make sense since it seems this BB is set up to do it all.

I work in VZW Cstmr Care. I had a acct owned by HTC pop. The guy was calling in to activate a phone. Acct had 30-40 lines. I activated the phone and it showed up Test Device. I noticed almost every phone on the acct was a Test Device. I also noticed several had active SIM cards.

I asked the guy what phone it was. He said he had the Raphael, which I believe is the same as the Touch Pro. He said it is almost ready o launch and said expect Nov. if everything continued the way it was. He said he liked it a lot. He also said there are more Andriod phones coming. He was vague for dates and specifics but still some good info to hope for!

So I just came back to VZW which was a great choice. But I am wondering how can I get my hands on a V9M? I am thinking that I can only go through e-bay or would the corporate stores possibly have them in stock? Also I assume that if I purchase a phone off of e-bay that I can not get the insurance on the phone? Any suggestions and answers are all welcome and thax for the help! 😁

If you send ringers and graphics to your Verizon phone via MMS, will you be able to save them to the phone and use them? I remember that a couple of years ago, Verizon crippled any type of function that would allow users to obtain free ringers and graphics in an effort to keep download revenues up.

I have an LG Dare with VCast. When I first went into VZ Navigator, I did not see anything about a charge. Is this feature included with my VCast package?
