I was just wondering how fast the PTT is on VZW network compared to Sprints Qchat and Iden Networks? Sprints Qchat is really fast and I think it may be faster then Iden , I just changed from Iden to Qchat and im really happy with it. But my friend has VZW so im looking into this for him,.

I know im in a VZW forum and every one will say VZW is.. but really for the people that have VZW PTT is it as fast as Sprints?

has anyone used bitpim for calender sync on a voyager? i can get it to the program but it doesn't write to the phone. contacts moved smoothly.

I got a friend on Verizon who is dying to get the Touch Pro. Any ideas as to when it will be released?

Hey Chris I was trying to get some answers for the new Voyager Refresh but nobody has helped me thus far. I know you are the most inform person out here and I have always to trusted you on your info. Thanks for any input:

I have some questions about the Voyager refresh. I am not up for an upgrade till November and really want the Voyager. If I made the purchase in Nov will the refresh be automatic to that phone or will I still have to take it in? Also, you don't think it will drive the price back up? Right now it is at a good price and was hoping it would drop even more with the release of the 4th quarter gems like the Voyager 2? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Some nights between like 1 - 3 am est if i am on my phone like my service will just drop I had a voyager and now a dare and both of them seem to do it. Any indications? I power cycle the phone, change nam selections, switch from home to automatic and battery in and out... any suggestions?

Does anybody have problems with their centro keyboard not working. My is only 4 months old and I can't do anything with my phone now. ☹️

Can anyone tell me if there is some way that we can troubleshoot firefox on a mac? I had a call involving a cust that has a usb 720 using that web browser and i could not find any info on it. She could use safari with no problem but firefox was not pulling up any web pages. I know that we don't support using that browser but i want to know if there is anyone here that could give some info on what i can check to find out why it's not working so i can assist the cust a little more next time i have someone with that issue. Thanks! 🙂

Just off a large conf call for PTT, and VZW informed us that there is not a set released date for the Boulder, simply saying it's coming "soon". Sucks.

Does anyone know any info about this? I heard from someone today that they are going to be pulling the phone from all stores.

Ok, so I had my phone interview on the 9th, then I had my personal (face to face) interview on tuesday of last week. I think I should had heard if I'm going to get the job by now. What do you guys think?

i've never used a cdma samsung phone but with gsm phones i can use samsung pc studio to sync with, does anyone know if samsungs from verizon will work as well? i checked samsungs site and could not find an answer. thanks again!

This is strange, but the other day while I was on the phone with my girlfriend the phone signal got poor, with lots of static. I could barely hear her talking, but what's even more weird is I could hear two other voices that were clearer sounding than her.

I thought perhaps she was walking by her dads TV because it's normally loud. But she wasn't, and there weren't any TV's on.. and I was in my truck.


Fast forward to now. We were on the phone again.. she was in her room with the TV off. I heard someone elses voice through my phone. She didn't hear it on any occasion.

Anyone have any idea what could be going on? Is this common... somewhat?

...was the worst decision that I have ever made. The reason I did switch was because ATT had a discount with my employer. ATT sucks. Period, end of story. With VZW, I had service everywhere I went (I live in CT). With ATT, every other call is a dropped call. I can’t hold on to service anywhere, not even within the bigger cities in CT. I traveled down to NYC the other week, and I even dropped calls there. I thought maybe it was my phone, so I had it looked at and eventually exchanged for a different model. Yet, I still have poor service. When I actually do have service, the call quality is horrible. There is static everywhere. I am coming back to VZW.
