I am thinking of replacing my 325i, and was wondering what is the best phone Verizon currently has?

All I want is a GOOD PHONE.

I don't want to listen to music.
I don't want to take pictures.
I don't want to send or receive text messages.
I don't want to read my email.
I don't want to watch TV.
I don't want to surf the NET.
I don't want GPS.
I know most phones come with this stuff, but I don't care because I don't use them.

The things that are important to me, are in order:

Reception
Voice quality (of callers)
Voice quality (on the other end)
Battery life

Whats your story?

I am truly curious. Do you hate coorporations in general... Verizon, or just like to stir the pot?

So there seems to be many people on here that are aware of upcoming releases. Any news you can share on possible release of new Voyager or the Treo 800w or???

Have a question about the main menu for the Dare. I haven't had a chance to go to a store to play around with one but I was wondering if there is anyway to make the main menu icons to be straightened? To me the slanted icons make this device (atleast the main menu) look like it's made for a 10 year old rather than adults.

I am not sure if I read this somewhere or what, but is VZW going to offer something like the My Circle? 5 numbers would be good for me 🙂 Thanks

when you do a google search for pictures can you save the pics to the somehow?

I'm in the middle of my two-year contract with Alltel, and I want to pick up a new V9m for considerably less than $500 bucks. My V3m got a little wet a while back, but it still works just fine. I have a feeling it'll short out on me when I least expect it. I checked with Alltel direct here in Charlottesville yesterday, and they are replacing the V3m for insurance claims with V3a's...yuck!

When Verizon takes over, if history is a factor when Alltel bought out Cellular One (the CDMA company, not he GSM), people could upgrade in the middle of the contract if they wanted to do so. As nice as the My Circle is, for my purposes, it ain't that big a deal, and most of my friends have Verizon anyhow.

If anyone knows how soon this is all suppose...

It's given that everyone respects RIM's products, especially the Blackberries. Not once have people truly bashed on Blackberries - they may discuss some pros and cons here and there about each device, but that's really the extent of it.

I've noticed when word got out that VZW will be the initial exclusive carrier for the Thunder, all of the trolls came out and started knocking on this upcoming RIM product. Tell me, where were you guys before when RIM came out with other products? Why weren't you trolling on them? Why did it take an exclusive VZW device to start bashing on RIM all of the sudden?

I saw these on HOFO and it was amazing! Look at the coverage map that Verizon will have if it goes through! I also love the terms that the guys use to describe the benefits that people will have.... 🤣 I cant wait for this deal to be done! Also the RCC deal.

I am looking for a good replacement for an E815. It is between the W385 or the W755. Just for voice, no other features needed. (basic) Which phone would be better? RF, battery life, and reliability are the only needs.

I was a customer before I worked for Verizon. I completely understand the frustration that comes with policies that you do not understand. I totally get it. However, if you approach me in a respectful manner and ask me your questions, I will fully explain everything and help you understand. At the end of our conversation, more than likely we will reach and agreement and because you have been patient and understanding with me, and I with you, I will probably bend over backwards to help you out.

If you approach me as an ally, I will more than likely help you out. If you approach me as an enemy, I will more than likely fight back.

Hey everyone, I am new to phonescoop, a friend shared this site with me 🙂 So i thought I would check it out and say HI... I have a question, Being a BC survivor I usually like to buy some things in Pink, so I was wondering if there are any phones coming to Verizon in Pink. My every two is ready to use and I am in need of a new phone but I am not sure if I should wait to see what is coming out or just pick one from Verizon now. not sure if this matters but I like a PDA/Blackberry type phone.

I got the Blackberry and have had it for about a week. I can tell you that this phone is probably going back.

My Gripes:

I cannot for the life of me setup my gmail account to synch with this....No matter what I do it will not work.

Secondly and most importantly the phone is way too small in my big hands. Its hard for me to navigate around with the pointer. Although the overall design of the phone I just wish it was a bit bigger. Now with this all said can someone point to the right direction to pick a new phone that has greate features and a qwerty keyboard? I was looking at the DARE but am not sure....Anyone have any suggestions?

I have some questions about the Voyager refresh. I am not up for an upgrade till November and really want the Voyager. If I made the purchase in Nov will the refresh be automatic to that phone or will I still have to take it in? Also, you don't think it will drive the price back up? Right now it is at a good price and was hoping it would drop even more with the release of the 4th quarter gems like the Voyager 2? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

My coworker recently signed up with Sprint. She said that she applied for VZW service but she couldn't get it??? She didn't tell me why but Im assuming that the deposit was really high and she just didn't want to pay it which is understandable. Do you guys really turn people away because they have whack credit? I thought the whack credit was the reason for charging a deposit. I thought potential customers were only turned away if they are underage or if they had an old acct with a balance? Question, what is the deposit range for VZW? I was told it ranges from $125-$400 but in another forum a lady said that her friend was told she would have to put down $500/line! 😲

this happened to all 3 phones i had to exchange! DO NOT fall into apple's trap....unless u don't want to know if you get a text message or not lol
