What am I doing wrong?
I have activated the GPS (not just for 911)
Yet the map never goes to my current location?
I click start GPS and the arrows go back and forth yet it never takes me to a current location, it never tracks me or anything?

Is Opera going to be there, any restrictions on what we see? Is the GPS and WiFi going to be tuned for some kind of mandatory Verizon payday?

So, are American consumers ready to pay full retail price for a handset?

It will be interesting to see the evolution of the 700 mhz spectrum. Will consumers be willing to pay $200-$300 for a handset if it means no contract?

Funny thing is, they can do that now. You don't have to have a contract if your willing to purchase a handset at retail price.

I recently purchased a Blackberry Curve 8330 from Verizon. I'm coming from the LG 8500, which was crystal clear. Ever since I got the Blackberry, EVERYONE complains that I sound muffled and am difficult to understand. It is driving me crazy. Anyone else have this experience or any thoughts? Thanks!

I just wanted to thank you for your help in choosing this phone. Its going to be arriving today so I have something to play with other than myself. Now the big question is someone had mentioned to download and install opera mini to the blackberry. Is there a place I can get apps and games and pics and stuff for it for free or am i going to be buying this stuff?

I see that Sprint just released the BB Curve in red, it looks alot like the red Curve on AT&T.

I am thinking of joining VZW in the next few months. I know that the service in my area is great because my brother, sister n law, and some friends have them and they seem to love their service. One of my friends was telling me about how they helped her with her bill because she accidentally went over on her text messages and they took off over $200.00 on her bill. Plus I get 20% employee discount 🙂 I was looking into getting the BB Curve and was wondering what are the thoughts of current users. Also, will there be an update OS where it will include Documents To Go? Also, does the Curve have video capture? Thanks for any and all the help....

I think I speak for a lot of people who say that they are waiting for the Blackberry Thunder to be released.

I was going to get the curve until I saw the Thunder. Who knows how it will be since it is virtually 100% Touch but we will have to see. Lucky it should not be long. August/September time frame.

I used to work for data device warranty exchange with At&t (evil I know) but I've always had Verizon service (bad coverage for every other company).
Anywho, I currently have the VX-6700 and the sound is gone (no ringing or speakerphone)..done a soft and hard reset..nothing fixes it. Done all the updates. So, I'm still (barely) w/in my 1 year warranty (I think). I'm going to call and try to get a replacement. My question is..does Verizon have the similar 3 strikes rule? I've had several replacements with this phone (touchscreen broke etc)..however, they were with asurion and probably won't count towards my 3 strikes. (Got last replacement from them on 2/11)..this brings on another question...Asurion (i believe) won't replace...

Basically I want to know if there's somewhere we can go and not bore the bejeezus out of the "civilians" with our rep-speak. If I purchase a Voyager are we still forced to buy buy the V-Cast package like when the phone first came out. I do not use the Internet. I like everything else about this is why I want one. I just dont want to purchase a feature not neccessary for me. Thanks everyone!!! 😁
