I'm looking to get a new phone. Right now I have the Motorola Q. It's OK but looking to get a new phone. BTW I live in NYC.

-I want good call quality

-Be able to check my Hotmail account and send emails

-Check my work email but I don't need to do much with it besides respond

-Use the internet for scores, fantasy football stuff etc

-Take decent pics and be able to send them

-Use the navigation feature in my car

-Text message

-Calendar is nice but not essential

I never had a Blackberry but I've heard good things.

First things first… how did you like our BlackBerry Bold review? If that just made you crave the device more, you might not be too pleased with the latest info we got. We’ve been told that the Bold might have been pushed back yet again. What’s the whispered launch month now? September for a lot of carriers. That’s not to say it couldn’t launch sooner on a couple carriers, but that’s what we were told. It looks like there are still some problems with the radio code that have to do with network roaming, searching, etc. The Bold software has not even gone GM3 yet, and with weekly builds still coming out, there’s nothing to be shipped at this point in time. I have some questions about the Voyager refresh. I am not up for an upgrade till November and really want the Voyager. If I made the purchase in Nov will the refresh be automatic to that phone or will I still have to take it in? Also, you don't think it will drive the price back up? Right now it is at a good price and was hoping it would drop even more with the release of the 4th quarter gems like the Voyager 2? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I haven't seen Joe ranting on AT&T and the I-phone. While I know it's not every device, it looks like AT&T is perfectly fine with moving the way of Big Red. I mean, Iphone app store = GIN. Charging for GPS is robbery yet people are going to have to purchase an app to allow picture messaging?

I was talking with a co worker today who has the pearl....she really likes it...and she said that she gets a special promo pricing for 20.99 for the data package per month. I told her I was sure it was 29.99 per month....but she pulled up her bill online for the last several months and sure as S*&T she is right....plus she gets a discount for being a state employee.....so has anyone else heard of this 20.99 pricing? reall ywell if you live in upstate New York in particular Stueben County and surrounding regions. You are experiencing a outage. Can't even call 911. How bout that.....Most reliable network. My daughter just got the Palm Centro, but I have data blocked on her phone. Does that mean she cannot send or receive picture messages (MMS I guess?) because of that block? On her old phone she could send and receive pictures and it didn't cost anything extra. I realize this may not be the case with a data device, but I'm stupid when it comes to these, because I just don't need or want them. Thanks in advance for your input.

Who has the fastest data network in Orange County, CA? VZW or Sprint?

I am currently on VZW for my data card (month-to-month) and cell phone. Cell phone service is GREAT, but the data card speed is low (it's an old EVDO card...and it is dying).

I want to get a USB data device, and I am trying to decide whether to stay with VZW for data or switch to Sprint. My wife has Sprint cell service with no problems here.

So, how good is Sprint data vs. VZW data in Orange County, CA?

Second... For all of those who think I-Phones are great.. good for you, but you are obviously not a businessman. A real Businessman/lady use a blackberry, or Moto Q, and sometimes, a palm..... Those three brands of phones contain the necessary essentials for everyday business. A detailed calender, and Microsoft being easily compatible. You can do etrades on your blackberry and store documents like excel on your Q very easily. I woke up this morning and the radio turned off on my BB Curve. I did a battery pull and it still remained off. I went into the network settings and ran a diagnostic and it turned the radio back on.

Anyone else experience this?

Don't you just hate that phrase?

I like that the Dare goes with a better camera instead of trying to be a clone of the iPhone.

Likewise, how the Instinct goes for a lower price point.

I wish that phrase could be banned.

Last week I got a Centro took some pics and then had a hard time Hot Syncing, so I called Verizon and they told me to e-mail the pics to my PC then do a hard return.
After, Hot Syncing I have not been able to transfer my pics back to my phone, I wanted one of them as a wallpaper.
Can someone help me?
