i have a chocolate (8550), and at my house i have no reception, where my friends has a glyde and gets full service. could this be because of a software upgrade or what??

Filter out the ones you can use by selecting your phone and select E-mail on the filter to the right of that.

You ask what you get with VZW. Check you bill for how many IN calling minutes you use. This is VZW's mobile to mobile. If you're using a decent amt of minutes be sure to tack that on to what plan you'd have to get with another carrier.

Also, if a few extra minutes are a big deal to you, you can get 1000 minutes that are good for 2 years if you sign a 2 year contract. This does not change your eligibility to upgrade your phone.

For 99% of people roll over minutes do not matter.

Nights at 7pm... well we'll see what happens. VZW is getting more and more competitive all the time.

Hey guys I was wondering what verizon charges for their PTT service? Not that they're really offering it now, but what was the price?

And also do you think they will increase it with the launch of their REVA phones? And any chance it will be included with the premium price plans?

My phone agreement ends next month so its time to serious shop again.

I like the looks/features of the Dare, but I would like a good comparison with the Curve. Currently, I pay for 450 min and unlimited data with my MotoQ, so for that same price of $79.00, I could get the Curve with full data, or I could get the Dare and have the GPS features, unlimited texts, etc.

What would be the advantages of the Curve here? Having a good Internet browser is an important feature for me, how would the two compare in that arena? Are there essential 3rd party applications that would make the Curve a better phone/pda? I use my MotoQ mobile Internet for more than just email.

I'm thinking about picking up one of these phones tomorrow seeing they come out in the stores but had a few questions. It has been getting pretty good reviews on many sites. I was wondering how the vibrate fucntion is and the texting, that seems to be everyones main concern. Any one who currently has the phone please let me know and any other things you feel important.

I have been with Verizon for the last 5 years. I used to own an e815 by Moto (I think that was the company) now I have the original Env.
I have been out of contract for over 6 months now and I have the $39.99 America's choice plan with $5.00 for 250 msg text and another $5.00 for mobile web.
My question is this, if I get a new phone and renew my contract, I was told I would have to pay $1.99 everytime I used my phone for Mobile Web is that true? Since I am on an older plan it just comes off my minutes.

Just heard that the Glyde will be having a $100 mail in rebate coming up soon. Don't know how long it will last but that seems to be pretty good to me. Not my favorite phone but double the regular rebate.

When is VZW going to add this? I love the line up that VZW has BUT in my opinion Sprint does have better plans. I currently have Helio and I love the phone I have (the Ocean) but they are about to go under according to Engadgetmobile.com. I am leaning more towards VZW because of the EV2. I have gotten use to texting on a phone with Qwerty and I don't think that I could ever go back to using a "regular" phone. I've heard from quite a few ppl that the LG Rumor is a piece of crap and its not even EVDO...its 1x 🙄 . It would be so awesome if VZW would have unl 7pm-7am instead the 9pm-5:59am or whatever...that's stupid. 🙄

I've been badgered by Verizon via postcards and mailers that I'm "eligible to upgrade right now" and quite honestly, I'd like a new phone but there's absolutely nothing compelling.

My uncle called me this morning, wants me to get him a phone for my aunt. He wants to get something like the iPhone, and after me explaining how that is impossible to put on his Verizon acct I told him I'd ask around.

What does Vdub offer in these lines, and does it require certain plans like the iPhone and Instinct.
