So, I have just joined VZW on my dad's account, but with my own plan. As of right now he signed me up for
NATIONWIDE SELECT 450 ANY UNL N&W UNL IN UNL MSG + EMAIL & WEB FOR BLACKBERRY.

Does this give me the same exact thing as
BlackBerry® Nationwide Email & Messaging 450.

I really thought that US Cellular would be the company that VZW purchased and not Alltel. US Cellular has some great coverage in midwest markets like Chicago that would have boosted VZW coverage.


Nonetheless, this will make VZW the premiere carrier in the US. I think it will give phone manufacturers more incentives to create CDMA phones as quick as they do the GSM phones in our country due to the sheer volume that the new VZW will consume. Before you say that both companies already were CDMA, think about the fact that now they will only have to make one type of software for these devices.

I dont know about everyone else, but I am excited to see Chad go away.. The commericals were funny, but I will not miss him.

Anyone having any ideas on how they should write Chad off? Should they make a commerical where the wizard makes them one? Or should it be like the Matrix where the test man just touch Chad and he tranforms to Test man

can someone please explain to me why CDMA/Verizon is better (coverage) than AT&T? i have an iphone and love it but will be moving to DC and love the fact that verizon covers customers in the metro/subway where my iphone is dead......serious question no jokes.....i want educated here!

What will happen to chad?

Last year I read an article that Verizon was going to allow any phone from any carrier to be with the verizon service. Does anyone have any more information on this, such as when/if this is going to happen?? I have been debating if I am going to stay with verizon(my plan is up in july) or switch to ATT for the Iphone, therefore this statement is quite significant. If anyone has any information on this please post.

I am having problems with my Motorola phone (the
4th one Verizon has replaced) and when I called the *611 yesterday the gal told me that I could early upgrade for the 1 year price and still keep my current contract....my question is am I eligible to also use my company discount of 25% on equipment in conjunction with the 1 year pricing? I have the new glyde and purchased a sandisk 4 gb card and it works fine for 3 or so days and then when i try to access it again it shows i have nothing on the card, I have to then re format the card again and do it all over again. Well it keeps deleting them over and over,. I tried buying another card, twice actually and it still does the same thing, can anyone help please.. Thanks in advance

mytinyphone.com offers free ringtones and such, but my verizon software on my vx8550 for the browse dosen't allow me to download anything. any way to get by this or is this just another instance of vzw crippling their handsets?

or does anyone know of any sites like this that vzw "allows"

A lot of VZW people say rollover is a marketing ploy that isn't really benificial and usually counteract it by saying that "the reason why you are rolling over minutes is because you are on the wrong plan. With VZW, we tell you when you are about to go over so you can essentially be on the right plan all the time instead of ATT and their rollover." I understand that arguement. However, that arguement is invalid now because AT&T and VZW have identical plans. Whatever plan you will have on AT&T, you will probably select the same plan on VZW.

Regardless of what plan you are on, you will always have residual minutes at the end of the month. I personally have about 100-200 minutes left at the end of each month on average. We all know its...
