Suddenly, I cannot send an email to a friend's or even my Verizon phone. I am doing the same thing I have always done. phone [email protected] They always come back failed. Remote host said: 550 SMTP connection refused

I am sending short message with plain text from two different ISPs.

If I go to Verizon's website, I can send a txt msg.

Does anyone know when VZW is going to release firmware that enables Rev A, and more importantly, fixes the BT issues with it not working with Voice Command?

So I took everyone's advice on here and finally ordered the curve. Unfortunately I have an employee account and will be waiting for 2 weeks for the Employee Phone Team to process my order... 🙄 At least I am getting it though. I have been playing w/ it at work everyday in anticipation. Any cool application ideas when I get the phone?

When did this whole forum change so much? I used to be able to come in here and read interesting information. Now it's just people dogging Verizon, or calling each other trolls, or just plain complaining. What happened to the interesting information that I used to find? Is anyone else as sick of this as I am?

How does VZW pricing compare with other carriers in your area? VZW has the reputation of being expensive. Does it cost all that much more than the most prevalent carrier in your area?

My father has an Individual Plan with VZW. I will be joining AT&T and he will be paying for it. It says you can add a new line by adding an Individual Plan. If we do this, will he be able to see the calls that I make, etc? Will I have access to see the calls that I make online with my own "My Verizon" account? Thanks.


Also, in the future, if I wanted to make it so it was just MY account, will I be able to do that?

I am going thru a divorce.. I have a contract until Dec. What I am wanting to know is can I take my husbands phone and have him use it as a pay as you go phone... and put the rest of the contract on a different phone... will I break the contract if I try doing this??

You're not going to get reception everywhere. I know, they put out a map and it has coverage right where you live. Guess what, if you phone isn't getting coverage then that area probably doesn't get coverage.

Bitching will not make it work.

Calling up reps and threatening to cancel service will not make it work.

Yelling does not make it work.

Basically you should probably move. Or buy a repeater. Yeah, they're expensive, but at least you'll get good service - it's a one time expense too.

So i finally broke down and purchased a Pearl several months ago. I absolutely love the phone. However, this past weekend I've had nothing but problems. The phone seems to be lagging extremely badly. I can go in and type a full 160 character text message, when i get to the end it's still typing the first word. then if i wait 30 seconds it'll fill in the rest of the message. when i receive a call I'll hit the answer button, it'll take 30 seconds for it to connect and the screen to switch to show me i'm connected. I've never had a problem with the memory leaking and i frequently run the memory cleaner. I'm at my breaking point with this. any ideas what's going on or what i can do to fix it. i may give up and go back to a standard pho...

My wife and I are Realtors in Portland Oregon, top notch coverage for us is an absolute MUST.

I had Sprint YEARS ago when I was traveling the country a lot, at that time they were the best for traveling as you could always rely on getting good signal at airports and in large cities. But in semi-rural and even some residential areas, forget about it . . . no signal.

Now being firmly planted in Portland Oregon we've found in the last few years that VZW has the best coverage, but their pricing is starting to wear on our nerves. We're looking at the all you can eat voice, data & text plans. VZW = $150/month each. Sprint is $100/month each...Quick $100/month savings but the question is COVERAGE.

I have zero interest in the "VZW sucks!...

we all know not a whole lot of people care about it but vzw should get palm centro by the end of the 2nd week in june.....pricing should be anywhere from free to 200 so pick your poison.

Do I need a Smartphone data plan to activate a Treo on my plan? I have a family plan with no data/text add-ons currently.

I currently have a Moto Slvr.

Also, any thoughts on the Treo 700P as a phone and "disconnected" smartphone used as a PDA only.
