Explaination of pda plans $39.99 plus $29.99 OR $79.99

Confused about pricing on Verizon's website. Blackberry plans voice and data is listed at $79.99 for 450 minutes----Then when in the store I was told I could have the $39.99 plan and add $29.99 for data for the blackberry. Note the difference in prices for the same thing is $10.00. Does anyone have an explaination or this???

One more question--Does discounts include discounts for data also Or just voice??? I am a nurse and the hospital I work at can get a 20% discount for employeees.

Thanks for the info!!!! 😁

Did you use third party apps for the winmo device and do you have any for the curve?

If so what are they and were they free for either device, i just got a curve and i think a winmo device would be better for me, just looking for help.

New phone ideas come from the manufacturers?

When I see disappointing phones like the Glyde for example it makes me wonder how this happens? Samsung develops a phone and shows it to a carrier and they decide to buy it or not. I even played with the new LG touch phone at Sprint (the one that comes out July 4 on Vz) and its not very good say in comparison to the iphone which is the standard for touch devices. Why doesn't vz say to lg make me one of these and hand them a iphone? Why all these mickey mouse attempts like the LG dare, venus, voyager, Samsung Glyde, Htc touch etc etc.

Curve or XV6900

Hey Guys, I am looking into getting the XV6900 or the BB Curve for my 1st PDA/Smartphone on June 1st when I am eligible to upgrade. In your opinions which one would be easier to use for a 1st time user of a smartphone. I will use it for email, internet, SMS & MMS calling and the calender. I am leaning towards the Curve right now just because of the Qwerty keyboard. I have read the reviews and both seem to be excellent phones. Thanks!

Lg 8350 Bluetooth?

Hope someone can give me some advice here. I have a LG 8350 and I need a wireless earpiece. I don't know anything about the bluetooth stuff so I'm lost on this. I work in a VERY noisy factory and need something that practically screams in my ear to hear it. Any ideas on what would work with my phone?

cwcanty...

I know you have a curve. Did you download any other browsers? I have the BB browser, and opera mini 4.1 I had mozilla on my previous curve, but I forgot how I downloaded it. I tried linux from a suggestion from a previous post, but it didn't work. Any ideas to get mozilla? 🤨
