The Env2 lists "Premium Pricing Compatible" as a feature on the phones page of the VZW website. What does this mean?

I've searched and found some contradicting answers. So to recap, 1) I will not be charged to send/receive images 2) Images = MMS = data 3) Data connection is required to use MMS

So my question(s),
1) Why am I still connected to Boardband Access after I've sent and/or receive an image?
2) If I am charge for pix/messages, wouldn't the (active) BA connection constitute usage thus being charged for data?

If I am entitle to pix/messages w/o charges for data, I would prefer so and not disable the data.

I wasn't able to find anything about the active connection after send/receive images.

Bleu tropix....I am about to take the plunge into the ENV2...I think you had said you live in a fringe area...how is the reception going with the phone? and the call quality?? I have always had Motorolas too and I am a little afraid to switch...as I would be paying full retail. Just wondered how your experience is working out...or if you want to go back to Moto.

1) send text from the front by just pressing send button after typing it?

2) Set navigation to the shortcut key inside phone?

3) set individual text alerts for each person, like you can with ringtones?

4) set photo caller id? and does the pic show up on outter screen? what's it look like if you can?

...been having problems with text messaging and calling in the bay area? quite a few texts both yesterday and today will go thru, but then about 30 seconds later i'll get a text from verizon saying network error. and then i'll try to make a phone call and the call won't connect...i thought VZW was supposed to have the best network? And they did about a year ago when I had them...but now that i'm back, there seems to be a problem...please help!

One of the biggest complaints people with verizon always say is that switching between phones is such a hassle having to either call customer service or log into My Account to do the ESN swap. Everyone wishes that verizon had sim cards like Att and Tmobile, but are sim cards really so great if you switch between phones daily?

I always thought the same thing while I was with Verizon. When the iphone came out and I switched to Att, I learned that using verizon's "my account" to switch esns really wasn't that bad afterall. I switch phones at least once a day, usually when I work out or go to the beach, i switch to my "secondary phone" that I dont care too much about. In the Phone Info menu there is a link to upgrade your software .. I "assume" this is in lieu of going to verizon when they come out with a new version

So i have had the EnV2 for a week now and found some things i am very unhappy with

1. it does not have the game Tetris
2. It does not have VZW tones deluxe

Does anyone know when these may be available to this phone via new software i have talked to Verizon and they do not know

does anyone know how to extract url links from verizon handsets for example the mot razr and krazr?

I know its still early in its release, but anyone know if it will support yahoo mobile? Or google mobile?

how good is it for txting and sending picture messages .. I had the 8525 for AT&T and it was rather horrible IMHO

I sooo wish Verizon would come out with a sidekick type phone .. this would be their leading selling phone if they did .. Tmobile signal sux in my area so I could NEVER use it for a phone but I have had every SK that came out from the first black and white to the new LX and Ive always only had SK service without minutes .. works awesome when it has a signal .. lol

So I have yet to play with a Touch but I have heard from other people that the keyboard is a nightmare to use since the keys are so small, it's hard to hit the right key with your finger you almost have to use the stylus. Does anyone know about how easy the keyboard is to use?

Does anyone know who is the head of the indirect/agent channel for Verizon Wireless in the Dallas area or anywhere in Texas (except El Paso, Mountain West Region is different that most of Texas).

If someone starts a line of service at Costco, then has another VZW customer take over that line before the activation fee is waived, will there still be a credit for the activation fee on the (now inactive) account? The rep and costco still get credit for the activation/contract because it isn't being disconnected, just a name change.

So i got my EnV2 yesterday in maroon and i love it.
It has great sound quality but i wish it would ring louder but the ear piece volume is great. I do not like the little outside screen that much but i can get used to that. It does not have a flash and i miss that (i had the orange EnV)

Okay so maybe i have not played with the phone enuf but does anyone know how to set the key lock timer for the outside to be longer so it does not come on so fast???
