I have an 8300 I have been very satisfied with: it's never broken, it still has decent battery life without a replacement battery, it's rugged, functional and has good reception.

However, I am eligible for New Every Two this summer. Should I opt for something then, or hold off for awhile? I'm not very versed in what's out there right now, or what's on the pipeline, and I often research phone purchases for up to two months before deciding. No impulse cell buying here.

Any recommendations for a replacement strategy?

I walked into my local Verizon Wireless store this afternoon (Monday, April 28th) and purchase my two enV2 phones, no questions asked. The rep said they were released for sale today.

So far so good. Nice phones.

A friend of mine said he is going to buy the new phone coming out for Verizon that is like the I-phone. He said it comes out in a week. He is a bit phone illiterate (obviously if he is trying to get one because it is "like the I-phone") So he didn't know the model, make, anything. Said it will be running windows mobile though. Anyone know what phone he was talking about?

I just received the new Env2 I ordered with my NE2 credit, but I actually ordered it to give to my wife who is not up for a while.

How long do I have to keep it activated in my account b4 transferring it to her phone number and account?

As well, does anyone know if the rebate can be filled out on-line?

Also, if I am transferring the phone to another account, must I submit the rebate first and then transfer it over?

I had three choc. break. Three different problems three phones. I went to Circuit city because the verizon reps at the store are very "busy". After I told the rep my problem he took my phone to what I would guess to be his sup. who was standing about ten feet from me. Apparently he didn't know I was there and replied with "Tell him to stop dropping his f***ing phone" The rep came back said it was going to be $50. I called customer service and they said that was a good deal for a replacement. I have the voyager and it wontturn on and its now water damaged. i called the store to make surte they have one there to replace it and they said no theyd have to send me one. i work all day and cant afford to take a day off work to get my phone. ive been without the phone for a week now. And the only other option that we have is they can have one sent to their store which is still an hour away. What should i do???

...trying to help my parents out here. my dad was the original account holder, then he thought he wanted to switch out for ATT so my mom became the acct holder and he on one of the secondary lines. he then decided to stay with VZW. now that he knows about the corporate discount he's eligible for, he wants to switch back to being account holder. my mom says she thinks she remembers having to pay a fee for when they switched places the first time, is this the case? i was under the impression that it was free. any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hello everybody!!! Currently I work for a corporate Sprint Nextel store, but unfortunately my store is one of the 125 closing. So yesterday I went into my local verizon wireless store and I was quite impressed! I spoke with them and they said they were in need of reps and were excited that I was interested and directed me online. I did the application and posted my resume but for the Dayton, OH area there were NO JOBS LISTED. Does any body have any tips on how I to be recognized by the HR department so I may get a job?
