RAZR 2 or LG 8350?

I've got a question to anyone who can give me advice on this. I'm usually always sure about what phone I want to get when time to get a new one but I'm having a hard time this time. I get better reception with Alltel where I live so I swiched...BIG MISTAKE, I know. I should have stayed with Verizon. But I'm going to switch back. Since I was with Verizon last they released new phones. Which is better, the Motorola RAZR 2 or the LG VX8350? So far I can tell the only real difference is the camera quality...I want to know which would be the best choice. If you own one of these phones, and you were to do it all over again, would you get the same one second time around or get the other one?

Company Discounts on VZW

So...my bf and i got an account together...and he works for Home Depot and gets a 25% discount. but when they added me on, they said that the corp. discoutn he was getting was only valid on his main line. not on mine. Since I ended up getting the BB Pearl (he has the EnV), this is how it ended up working out. Keep in mind we both need unl sms, pix, flix, email, web access, and navigation.

his line:
$99.99- 700 shared minute plan (includes unl sms/pix/flix)
$15- Unl Web/email
$10-Unl VZ nav
he got 25% off this

My line:
$29.99- BB internet/email
$10- Unl VZ nav

This comes to a total of $133.73!
Why doesn't the corp discount come off of both lines?! then it would only be $123!
I know, some people are like, it's only $10/mo...b...

Do you get free Walmart purchases for purchasing with them for over 2 years?

This is for the Customers who believe everything should be free and that companies should bend over backwards to give them everything and anything. When you do to Walmart you have to pay for everything, and even if you've shopped there for 10 years they will never give you a free shopping cart. BUT you will continue to shop there. When you upgrade your phone, even though you have paid for a SERVICE how do you expect everything free? The SERVICE costs money to run and use. No cell phone company is a non profit organization, and I believe it is time for cell phone companies to put their foot down. 🙄

BJ's

Question for all those out there.

How many people know that Verizon Wireless has corp owned kiosks inside *most* BJ's Wholesale clubs?

For those that have been to one, how has your experience been? Did you know it was there prior or did you just run into it?

And for those poor souls who work there, do any of your stores do well and what do you attribute it to?

Ringtone uploading, can anyone help?

I finally dropped alltel like a bad habit, so I'm part of the IN crowd...again. But I have a question. Does anybody know how to upload homemade MP3 ringtones from the computer to a cell phone. I used to be able to on Verizon, and I could do on Alltel. Has Verizon put a block on this or what? I use www.funformobile.com to upload stuff. If there is another loophole I can use to help me save a little money, somebody tell me. I have like 50 homemade ringtones, so thats alot of money I can save. And no, I don't use all of them, its some I made over the past several years. Thanks.

Customer Reps!!!!

First off I would like to say that i am a verizon store manager and love my job. I am really tired of coming on to this site and seeing people complaining about customers if it was not for them you would not have a job and lets face it this job pays pretty good. I know that with every job someone is going to piss you off at some point but that is part of the job and this is not the place to vent because customers can see this. If i was a customer and read a posting bashing me no matter how stupid my questions are i would not feel very proud to be a Verizon customer and could take my money elsewhere. Trust me as a store manager i have dealt with a number of stupid questions and i have been yelled at and threatened but i never take it personal...

Verizon calls Sprint a deadbeat, takes it to court
by Chris Ziegler, posted Apr 16th 2008 at 8:16PM

Sprint is allegedly pulling the old "aw shucks, I must've left my wallet at home" trick with Verizon, which claims that the former is failing to pay up about $10 million in back interconnection fees. The Delaware federal court filing says that Big Red "repeatedly attempted to resolve this dispute short of litigation," but hey, every so often these megacorporations run into a dispute that only the gavel can solve -- particularly when it involves eight figures w...

One more quicky I hope...

I have a ? about unicel. Anyone know about it? I recently transfered my two lines to alltel as well as my wife and teen and added another teen to two verizon accounts. I still have another teen on unicel. She still has about 6 months left before her contract is up (I was smart and at least decided not to put her on alltel!). She has the 32.99 unlimited local calling. I read somewhere online that unicel was purchased by verizon. Anyone know about this? I was just wondering. Maybe I could call in and just get her switched over?

$55 activation fee

I know that VZW charges the new $20 fee on any phones activated now except to new every 2, but how do they expect to charge it to new customers and then expect them to pay another $35 on the bill?? I was just about to activate a new customer and the fee popped up. I wasnt allowed to waive it and when i told the customer about it they laughed and left. %% bucks total to activate a phone, WTF??

Is this possible?

I have two lines on the 69.99 family plan with 700 min. ONe of the two lines has txt for 10. Is it possible to get unlimited texting just on that one line? The other line does not use texting (Grandma).

I also have another family plan where my line has the unlimited everything and the other two lines just have unlimited texting. That Was nice because it brought the cost down, and the other two lines don't need gps, and stuff like that.

I don't want to pay for texting another line is definatly not going to use!
