Question about adding a line??

I am sure this is not the first time, someone has asked this question. I tried searching but I didn't find any info on here...

I was going to add a line to my account cause my lil sis wants a phone, I was going to get a nicer phone to keep for myself and just give her my Samsung A990.

I will loose my number if I do that correct? No way of keeping my number?

voyager phone selection or lack of it..

you know I hope verizon stick with coming up with crappy phones every year..if so att would keep its lead over them for many years to come.

i just tested the voyager at a vzw store.. i use the iphone myself and there is no comparasion between the two.. voyager is a big phone with a querty keyboard thats all it is..

average consumer..it is horrible to think that verizon could charge more then 100 dollars for this crappy phone. the web browser.. ha ha. its like the browser on my razr.

bottom line.. verizon, i hope continue to suck with your phones. i hope that every year the gap between vzw and att gets bigger and bigger..

and you get scared so that you have to launch unlimited plans to catch up.

you are a money hungry company ...

This is why I can't take PeterGriffin seriously...

Every time I see a post from this guy I'm reminded of my favorite Family Guy scene and just giggle.

Turning the Data connection off of my Treo 650

I have a Treo 650 without a data plan and only recently I have been accidentally, (not even knowing how) with the phone in my pocket turning on the internet and now I have a bill for pay as you go kilobyte usage.

I have no idea how it happens and now I have a 33 kilobytes of usage, without ever actually surfing the internet once.

My question is, is their a way to turn it off, so it doesn't keep on happening?
😕 😕
Thanks for your input.

BloodiedWraith

OK, I'm gonna post a new topic, since obviously I was responding with what I did in the wrong thread. Anyway, thank you for your information on the Touch. I can't wait until it's released. How do you like the Centro? I'm not a big Palm fan, but I do like the size of the Centro.
Thanks.

AvgJoe...

Simmer down dude. At&t is doing well without you. Seriously, do they track how much sales you drive for them?

Take a vacation. Chill. SOMETHING. I'll send you some Black Label myself.

what happens if...

k, so I bought the voyager, (im a brand new customer) and Jesus did NOT ascend from the heavens and the angels did NOT sing, like I thought they would 😢 . Way too bulky, and I think I may need more of a PDA for the calendar that I would like. SO my question is, what happens if I exchange the voyager(its been less than two weeks) for the touch when it comes out, and since that comes out online earlier than in the stores, what if I dont like the touch. Do I have ANOTHER 30 days to figure it out? I wouldnt think that you could just keep trading phones out every thirty days and that is not what I am trying to do, but I was on the fence about the touch(I checked it out at sprint store) and honestly I would probably like the lg dare better...

GPS on xv6900 aka touch ?

hi
I know that the new XV6900 would have GPS on it. What does this exactly mean. does it mean that we would be able to use the touch as we use a Garmin gps device.

would be get voice activated turn by turn directions?

would we have to take the verizon vz navigator package for this.

any info for the above questions is greatly appreciated.

thanks

Touch training???

I have been following information coming out about the Verizon XV6900. Although there have been no solid dates or time so far, I came across an interesting post on howard forums...

I folks!!! I am new to the forum. I am a long time Verizon Blackberry user. I have to move to a Windows mobile device because I joined a company that has a technology that only works on this PDA OS. I will miss my BB.

I want to stay with VZW because I love/need the call quality. After looking through the disappointing Windows mobile devices at the VZ Store, I was settling on the SMT5800. I mentioned to the sales gal that it seemed to be the best of a disappointing bunch and she said “we will be getting the Touch very soon”. I had no idea what

Nokia readies iPhone response

Nokia remains at work on its answer to the Apple iPhone, codenamed "Tube," a company official said on Monday.

Shown in a slide at the Evans Data Developer Relations Conference in Redwood City, Calif., Tube looks similar to the popular iPhone. The Nokia device showed graphical displays, such as a promotion for the movie Shrek the Third. Other capabilities will be featured, such as the ability to upload photos.

"It's our first touch device," said Tom Libretto, vice president of Forum Nokia. Interfacing with the system is done via touch similar to the iPhone. He said the company has not published the planned date of shipment for Tube.

Nokia believes it can compete with iPhone, and during his presentation, Libretto compared volume shipm...

EnV2

I noticed the original EnV is listed for $29.99 at Verizon's front page. Is this the last push to move stock and a sign of out with the old, in with the new?

lg env 2 (or voyager)?

I was looking around here last week and saw a message stating that the LG env2 was on the lg website. I have looked and cannot find it. Any links available?

Also, was considering trying the Voyager (again) as I NEED a keyboard for texting. I had the Voyager once but think that maybe I got a bad one because I the voice quality was horrible. Otherwise, loved the phone. Everyone here that owns the Voyager seems to love it.

QUestion is, give the Voyager another chance or wait for the ENV2? Also, if I try the Voyager again, and don't like it, will Verizon then allow me to switch to the ENV2 even though I had previously tried the Voyager OR will they just make me stick with the Voyager? THANKS!
