9900 'EN-V' and NAM1 and NAM2

I was very excited to read that the 9900 apparently had not been crippled by VZW like a lot of their versions of the phone. A month or so ago I tried buying a PDA phone, actually bought a "Q" only to find out it couldn't support two phone numbers. Apparently all the PDA's had this function disabled for some reason. I was in hopes the 9900 would support it but we couldn't find any way to change numbers in the UI. The previous version of this phones does since my sales associate had one with two numbers assigned. Does anyone know why VZW is disabling this feature???? ARRRRRGH! 👿

HTC Touch and BB Curve vs. HTC Touch Dual and BB 9000

So today I was more than excited to see the official announcement of the BB curve on VZW to go along with the announcement this week of the HTC touch...I have been waiting since November to renew my contract for one of these.

Until I also read the planned availability of the HTC Touch Dual and BB 9000 in June for GSM...talk about a slap to the face

and no this isn't some new account for the trolls on these forums, I've been with vzw since 2001. Just venting

verizon mobile web browsing (any vzw workers please help)

the new verizon web browsing plan is about 1.99 per megabyte. i already visited like 10 pages and my data usage shows .87 megabytes. so im assuming one webpage is about 133 kb. can anyone clarify. i talked to the verizon reps on the phone and they said one megabyte is 50-100 webpages which i found was not really true. so on average how many webpages does it take to equal a megabyte??

1st Quarter

Seeing how VZW 4th quarter stats weren't up to par with previous results, how do you think the company performed with the 1st?

Me...I think with succesful sales of the Voyager and a strong "unlimited" ad campaign results will be better than 07 1st quarter, IMO... No real predictions yet

Possible switch from At&t to VZW?

I need some help on something please? I am not happy with At&t's prices and I am looking to switch. I like in the Metro Detroit area and I wondered how was the coverage? What is a good phone for texting, music, and good call quality? Any and all information is much appreciated.

So what's next....

With the recent trend in wireless technology advancing from camera, video camera, bluetooth, MP3, GPA navigation/location apps, etc...I'm wondering what the next BIG advancement will be? My guess is something that will be compatible with cars like a wireless remote or something. Seems as though VZW is head of the class in data services but I'll think they'll go outside the box with the next innovation (*sigh*...passed on the iPhone 😕 ).

What's your educated guess??

Upgrading: WIFI Phone Without Data Plan?

I'm due for an upgrade and I was wondering what is the "best" phone with WIFI. Also, is it possible to get such a phone (smart phone?) without a data plan? I just want to be able to check emails and web occasionally at home, school, etc. when I don't have a laptop with me. Is it even possible to use WIFI free of charge from VZN?

Thanks.

Need new phone - which is best

It's time for my new every two and I'm having problems deciding on a phone.

The phones I like are: The Moto RIZR, the Juke, Chocolate and the Moto KRZR.

My cell phone is my only phone so battery length and good reception is a must for me. I could care less about listening to music on my cell phone and I text very little.

Which would be the best pick for me?
