Nationwide Plus Canada + email + web + text = which phone and plan?

I'm searching for a new phone and new plan. Currently I have a regular razr (hate it btw) with the North America's Choice plan 900 mins plus the regular extras (n&w, txt).

I'm thinking I might upgrade to a device which would allow me to check email (gmail and corporate outlook?) surf the web (unrestricted) and do all the things I can currently do (regular phone and text functions).
I would also enjoy a phone which takes decent pictures.

A friend of mine with another carrier told me he can tap into wifi networks for free. Does verizon allow this? 😕

Any tips or suggestions are appreciated. I've been reading about the VW6900 and the BB Curve but I really don't know enough to make an informed decision. If I get frustrated and/or the ...

Curve Delayed...Again!

Phone Arena is reporting that both Sprint and Verizon will be delaying the Curve until May 15th due to a "crippling firmware bug." My question is, if this bug is so "crippling" why is Alltel already selling the Curve? 🤨

My Ideal phone would be.....

Similar to the LG Scoop.

Picture this...
it would look similar to the motorola slvr L7c. (I used to have that phone).
only it would have the keyboard of my LG 8600... smooth, sleek black, only with a camera key as well. IT would be an all black phone slightly smaller in lenght than the slvr.

2 touch sensor keys would be on the right next to the screen.

When one slides the bottom out just like the scoop, a full keyboard is revealed. The inside would also have the black flat sleek keys that the 8600 has. The two touch keys would be the soft keys that are for contacts and menu.

This phone would also have a 2 meg camera, and would have a flash.

It would be a little bit thinner than the env2. IT would also have a rubbery bac...

Curve on VZW Webiste

Probably not news to most but the Curve is available for sale on the VZW website. I ordered mine today and got confirmation of the order. Delivery is 1 - 2 biz days. Seems, however, that they forgot to upload a pic of the Curve. I think everyone knows what it looks like by now.

Early upgrade discount VS NE2

my online account shows I'm eligible for discounted pricing. was interested in the new env2 which shows discounted as 129.99 - my question is, I am up for NE2 in a couple of weeks - will the price be the same or better if I wait? If it's the same I might as well do it now....

Thanks!

What did I do!, qnc by accident?

I've been reading about qnc with the thought of getting a prepaid phone for pageplus cellular. Just for fun I hooked up my Verizon Motorola V325 with phone tools and a cable and set up an internet connection with *777/qnc/qnc. I hit 'connect' and I was on. I thought Verizon didn't have qnc, and that my phone wouldn't do it in any case. It said I was connected at 115200. Verizon said I could not use this phone to get online by any means. So, what happened??

I need help finding phone that actually works

Ok, I my E815 bit the dust last week (screen went out) So I did alot of research on this site reading phone reviews. I went with the LG VX 8700 based on its average over 4 out of 5 on reviews.

Long story short, the reception sucks. I have dropped at least 5 calls a day since I had it. I use it for business (outside sales) and travel across the midwest. My E 815 only dropped a call every once and a while. This phone is terrible, and I plan on returning it.

BUT what phone do I get? I prefer a flip style phone. Sure I like all the features available, but all I really care about is reception, and call quality. I also found the 8700 just is not loud enough. I have to put it in speaker mode and hold it near my ear in the car.

Please I cou...

Verizon forum?

Just a question... This is the Verizon Wireless forum. Does anyone else get so sick of all the people in here complaining about Verizon? If you don't like them, then stay out of the forum. I like phonescoop because I learn something new just about every time I log on. But, I get so sick of the Verizon bashers. Can't you just stay in your own forums? Can't we use these forums for something useful?
Just wonderin'...
