...how to turn off the vibrate feature when you get a new email in the mobile email app? i even turned off all sounds, and it still would vibrate! i really like the idea of getting my emails on my phone, but i like having my phone on silent and just being able to look at it at my convenience to see if anyone has called/texted. any help would be appreciated! thanks!

I know not every store requires that you do calls every day, but this is for those of you that do. How do you look for your leads? Or if you just do cold calls, what is your normal script or conversation? Just thought it would be interesting to share everyones procedure.

I am a former VZW customer, and by no means a fanboy of VZW, but it's not right to single them out for crippling phones. Sprint and at&t (who I have now) are just as guilty as crippling phones. For that matter, is there any american cell phone company that doesn't cripple phones?

Ok...got the EnV 2 last Wed when it became available in stores, and the first thing I did was DL the VZW Navigator, since it is free with the premium plan I also had...and it worked great. My boyfriend has the original EnV, and over the weekend, he was playing with it and realized he was able to DL a new version of VZW navigator...version 4.0 or something...and it has really cool features like traffic optimized driving and movie times around your GPS location. I was Like, Oh cool! there is a new version out! so, i went to try to DL it, too. No dice. i looked for updates every way i could think of. it kept telling me that my version was the newest one available..which was obviously not true! i also completely deleted the app and DL'ed it agai...

My mom has had the the lg vx8550 since july 7, 2007.

For the past three weeks, the phone repeatedly shuts itself off. When she turns it back on, it will shut itself off again... it doesn't do the "goodbye" screen or anything, it just goes black and is off... as if you took the battery out.

The battery is secure on the phone, the phone has never been dropped or gotten wet....

Is there a 1 year manufacturer's warranty? If so, she should be covered to get a new phone, right?!

Can she get a new phone from LG.. or verizon?!

I'm totally clueless... if anyone could lead me in the right direction, that'd be great!

Hi everyone: I am new to using Bluetooth. I have new toyota with the handsfree setup built in. I have the LG 8700 now and it seems to loose the connection often. It is annoying to say the least. I was wondering if anyone had experience with these factory hands free setups and could recommend which verizon phones seem to work out the best. Thanks in advance.

Here is my situation. My husband and I have had Verizon for many years now and are happy with the network and customer service. Fall 2007 we renewed our family plan and got 2 Motorola w385 phones. I had a lot of problems with my phone and Verizon replaced it 3 times within a 2 month period...when I started having problems with the 3rd phone they switched me out to the Motorola Krzr. I have now had 4 Krzrs within the last 3 months due to them malfunctioning and reliablilty. Verizon has also replaced my husband's W385 3 times. My Krzr is having problems AGAIN and so is my husband's W385. Verizon has been no hassle about replacing our phones. We are still within our 1 year warranty period.

Take a look at these Navigator screenshots with the new features. The maps appear to be marked with a yellow highlight where the traffic is congested, red where there is an incident.

You have to uninstall and reinstall to go from V3x to V4x.

Verizon released news about Loopt service that works like a buddy beacon. It was supposed to release in April and it's now May and I still don't see it on Get It Now. I have an LG-8350, so I don't know if it's because it's not released on my phone or what. Does anybody know about this?

My parents are also due for an phone upgrade and I would like to know which is a good phone for older folks? Big numbers and screen, easy to use, bluetooth to use headset, camera and not too many features that they get lost or confused on how to access what they need.

I went to a local Verizon store and they said the MSRP is $450. Since I only want WIFI and I'm elig for NE2, I'd have to pay $350+tax and send in a $50MIR. Last month I went in and it was $350 less the $100 for NE2 so $250+tax and then I'd send in the $50 MIR. Am I missing something? The dude last month said I could do the data plan and cancel after one month and save another $55 ($100MIR-$45 for one months service). That goes against everything I've read about having to stick with it 6 months. He said he never heard of that 6 month requirement... makes me think he's a tool.

I'm trying to see if this phone is for me. I will be doing lots of emailing and on the web. I don't do this now with my phone so I don't have the plan for it. Will the $29.99 unlimited data plan work with the BB Curve and is it truly unlimited for emailing a web surfing? Will it sync with Outlook?
