I work in CS so I haven't come across any of these scenarios yet.

Has anyone seen a customer been able to active a non-vzw handset? It's been, what nearly a month, since this first came out. What is everyone's experience with this? Has a customer received a phone back from the warehouse flashed w/ VZW s/w yet?

For the last 2 months I have had ear piece issues,Let me explain what I mean by ear piece issues, when im on the phone the voice coming in from the ear piece either drops off or gets so low you cant hear the other person. I contacting VZW tech support, and now on my 4th 8830 unit, I had 3 refurbs and 1 new unit, and still have the same ear piece issue. I contacted Blackberry Tech support who said this is not a known issue,and this was the first they are hearing of it, they did suggest to the VZW tech that was on the phone, should remove me completely and then put me back in the system sometimes this helps clear out any garbage on the servers, VZW was supposed to complete that but still no luck.

I just upgraded my family plan to two phones that have Vcast Music. Do I also need to buy the Music Essentials Kit to list to music on these phones? From what I can tell, the kit contains software, headphones, and a USB cable. The software is available for free download on the VZW website, and I have extra headphones and USB cable's laying around the house. I don't want to buy something I don't need. The phones I purchased are the Z6tv, and the Krazr.

Also, I already have an iPod. Knowing that I am familiar with the iPod experience, will I like Vcast music? I am curious about the user experience with Vcast music.

OK, I just got my Voyager Friday, and since then, I've been getting a lot of VZW free text messages (900-080-004221) spamming about downloading mobile email get it now, vznavigator, and every time I text my non VZW friends- EVERY TIME- I get a message saying "messages sent to non-VZW customers with graphics/tones/formatting and/or 160+ characters are sent as plain txt with only the first 160 characters."

I never had this problem with my old phone, and I've called VZW CS to ask them to stop this spam. I have the NW premium plan so I know they're free, but I don't want to keep getting the same messages. They tell me the only thing I can do is block texts in general. Any of you guys have any feedback as to what I need to do, or if the CS is ...

New AT&T Commercials now have at the very end Best Network.

Where is the basis of this? I could find anything on their website to back this claim nor any 3rd party companies giving out an award for this.

I have been lurking these threads for a while, and although I have only posted once before (this is my second post) I am NOT a troll. I am a VZW customer, have been for 5 years, just renewed my NE2 with a Voyager (BTW I love that phone!) so I'm not trying to bash Verizon.

That being said, I've noticed that many people ON THIS BOARD are quite nasty to posters on these threads. I understand there have been a lot of trolls on here lately, but some people have pretty legit questions and don't need people answering rudely with posts implying that the poster is an idiot for posting the question in the first place. Many VZW reps post on here, and should be more amicable with the posters who ask simple, albeit sometimes noobish questions.

Over new years I gave my kid a cell phone so he can use to call me after school. He was not soppose to use the phone until friday when its free for the weekend. A few days ago I got my bill. It was over $600 dollars. He has been using it to text his friends at night. Verizon will only give me $100 credit. It was a mistake. Why do I have to pay a $500 dollar phone bill?

Can someone please explain to me what this sentence means?

If you want to get Internet on your PC using an Aircard or your phone as a tethered modem, then you'll need to get the BroadbandAccess for $59.99 or $39.99 per month, or $15 if you have a Blackberry or PDA. Because I don't understand what VZEmail or VZAccess is, I don't understand what is has to do with using your phone as a mode...
