I have verizon and unlimited text, and I've been using mobile IM alot, I mean i used 1000 text with mobile IM yesterday. But my question is does it charge data? I went into my account on my phone and it said i used 0.20MB data. I havent used anything else that could of used data, no internet or anything, so im just wondering if that is from Mobile IM or texting even, if so will it show up on the bill as overages?

Ok I currently have the newer Chocolates, well I dropped it in a toilet, so I have to get a new phone. I don't wanna another Chocolate since I didn't even like this one, I need a music phone since I don't have an Ipod so, I thought about the Juke. I have a few questions, does the Juke break easily? I text ALOT, about 500 a day, so is the Juke hard to text on? Please. I really need help. Or if o=you have any other suggestions.

hey, new here but been reading for a long time. quick question on lte: will lte use sim cards (or something similar)? the reason that i ask is b/c i've worked for gsm providers in the past and love the ease of switching sim cards. however, i have had verizon for a while and would love to see a switch to this, while being able to keep verizon. thanks.

It used to be that I could come to phonescoop and read news and tips and get some useful information. It seems that for the past few weeks, all there has been is some people on here making comments about how bad Verizon is and just bashing the service. If you don't like the service, please just stay out of the forum or keep your comments to yourself.
With the way it has been on here lately, it makes me not want to come here.

Does anyone know if there is any possibility out there showing that VZW may drop the 44.99 unlimited data charge. I know you can get the bundle with the plan that makes it $40, but it's still a way higher price than the competition. It's time for me to upgrade and I want to get the HTC 6800 but I refuse to pay 44.99 or $40 a month for data.

I'm having problems receiving extended text messages on my MOTO Q. Whenever someone with a non PDA texts me an extra long message or a smiley it will send me only the first portion of the message followed by a second message saying "this message has been modified to fit your handset" or something similar to that. Is there any way to fix that, or maybe an app I can download to receive long messages like on a non PDA phone?

Also, do I really need to have the 44.99 data plan on my phone? If I don't want it, what do I need to be sure I am not going to get charged KB usage?? Mobile web block didn't work.

I have tow lines I am looking to cancel of them. Will Verizon prorate my bill or will have to pay for the whole month? THanks

I find it odd how many VZW employees post on this site, I'm just guessing but it seems to me that you must be in violation of a confidentiality clause or a code of conduct. I know that at some companies activity like this especailly when done from work as one VZW employee claimed he was doing, is cause for termination. Just foood for thought.

I have a friend who's willing to take on a 1y contract, and has a VZW phone, but doesn't want an activation fee. You can't activate and existing phone online that I could see, and Costco refuses to recognize a 1y contract exists, so where else can he activate an existing phone for 1y w/o an activation fee?

Does any employee of verizon wireless know of a possible drop in the $300 price 👿 of the Voyager with a 2 year contract? i love the phone but the price is a little steep for me.

As of March 3rd I will no longer be employed by att, and will be working for verizon... This will be hard to cope with as I personaly think att is better, but hey, this is sales and verizon pays well =P

Ok I am new here but what is with the new VZ sales payouts? I believe they have set unachievable goals for the salespeople to reach. Is no-one going to get a commission payout this month going forward?
