White Iphone / Iphone 5

Engadget is reporting the white Iphone is thicker than the black. Apple is saying it's to increase shielding for sensitive electronics.

I'm wondering if perhaps it's the same case the Iphone 5 will come in. Just a thought.

Question about suspension

Ok,the wife and I will travel overseas soon. We have a family plan (700 minutes) with 3 smart phones and one dumb phone; could be gone off and on for up to 6 months and really don't want to pay for what we don't use. My phone is the primary line. Tried to suspend mine but it said 'suspended with billing'. Called and talked to two different people, both very nice and both gave different answers. I'm just looking for the cheapest solution here. Two of the smart phones would be off leaving one smart phone an the dumb phone still working. Appreciate any advice/insight.
Thanks-JT

A funny comment from a customer

Recently, I was in a Verizon store, and one of the customers there clearly got water into their phone. I heard the customer says this to the rep:

"There is no way that I got water into the phone. I do not even use water"

Now, that is a funny comment. Have you heard any that are even more ridiculous than this one?

Can someone give me some insight on this???

AT&T is consistently rated at or near the bottom of every survey that I have seen in almost all areas, call quality, dropped calls, failure to connect calls, etc., yet they produce results like this. I am at a loss to explain this! Are there that many uneducated wireless subscribers out there??

Have at it guys/gals!!!! :-)

working out the bugs?

My news keeps trying to update. And never stops trying but never updates either. Finally I cleared the data, force stoped it, and removed it.

And I've run across several Verizon app's that won't function. Neither will the Verizon mobile version.

I'm assuming someone is working on these. I've noticed the gps is really slow, if I try to check in on fb or something. That might be a fb thing though. Maybe it will all be fixed with the gingerbread upgrade?

Anyone else have issue's? Just curious. Really love my phone overall.

My 1X is gone!

My Blackberry Bold would, until recently behave normally and show 3G when I used data and would switch to 1X when I placed a voice call.

In the past few weeks, I noticed that when on the phone for a voice call, the 3G indicator stays on and it never switches to 1X.
Wife has a different phone and hers is doing the same thing.
Anyone have any insight as to network changes that may have been made recently.

Manual Install Of Gingerbread

As I stated before I did a manual install of Gingerbread however battery life is now worse since doing the upgrade. I am not sure if it's because Gingerbread runs more stuff in the background than 2.2 but I finding my batter is now being charged during the day to get it back to 100% as well as finding the battery running hotter than normal. Is there a way to get back to 2.2 in hopes that the Verizon upgrade may be better?

Thanks

will i be charged?

A month in advance fee for my upgrade? I had a fascinate with unlimited data then upgraded to HTC thunderbolt. Still with the unlimited data. So I shouldn't be charged for the month in advance data fee correct? Actually I've had unlimited data for about five years, Verizon for well 7 yrs this august.

Verizon unlimited data

I don't know why everyone keeps saying that verizon charges after 5gigs on an unlimited smartphone data plan. I regularly use 5g the max i have used when i first got my incredible was 12gigs and I was not charged anything more than the $30 for unlimited. and the speeds stayed the same from the start of the month up the the 12gigs. i

FAMILY PLANS SUCK! READ ON PLEASE!!

I'm on a family plan consisting of 2 people. If we had a 2 year contract, can't we disactivate our account for less money? Verizon has buisness phones and hand helds... what I'm looking for is a cute flip phone with a camera and REAL MUSIC ringers. I HATE THEIR PHONES 👿

Please respond! Thanks a ton!

Verizon DID NOT cancel the Bionic

I've seen this post several times, but it is not true. Motorola was making a phone, Etna that Verizon was planning on branding the Bionic. However due to several issues, Motorola scrapped the Etna and is focusing on the Targa. This new Motorola device may end up carrying the Verizon Bionic branding.

Samsung Droid Charge

Looks like the Droid Charge is coming down the pike. "Charge" is right name for it if the $300 subsidized price is correct. Too rich for my blood, but I can't make use of LTE yet so it's moot.

Droid X rooting

Okay so I decided to do some research and found something online called: Simple One Click rooting software. Now before you all go and laugh since I am a noob at this whole rooting thing...Is it wise to be using this app to root my phone? And secondly can recommend me what to actually install once I am done with the root?

Thanks

Blackberry Playbook Launch Party - Dallas

Anyone else going to the Blackberry Playbook Launch Party tonight in Dallas? This is one of the first of many events around the country so I don't know what this means for an actual launch date (I know that question would have been asked).

If you are in the industry let me know and I can shoot you the link for the RSVP. Gotta show up with company credentials so no civies allowed. Sorry folks.
