Verizon Reps

So how is life as a VZW Rep in the call center in Cranberry? I am pondering the idea of trying to become one but still undecided. Any thoughts?

return v9 for something different or wait?

I searched but found limited results to my question I am about to propose: I am going to return my 2nd v9 because of the usual Motorola QC issues (had similar problems when I bought the v3c when it came out), so my newbie question is: ANY GOOD PHONES coming out by the end of this year that are "slim clamshell" phones?? My father has the Samsung 540u, and I am really tempted to get it, but it seems "old" to me. Any phones coming out soon that are similar to that one? Thanks ladies and gents.

ROKR Z6 watch...

I can't find the thread where someone noted that they have some Z6 materials at their store. Is there any kind of an update to when you think it may be available to the population?

PDA phones about to come out and whichwebsite to compare

Hey everybody,
I'm usually just on here reading all your interesting informative posts. And thank you by the way for helping how shall i say, less qualified phone users out. My NE2 is ready to be used.. But im pulling my hair out trying to figure out which expensive PDA to get. First i heard the XV6800 then the Samsung I760 and now i'm reading in your posts about the Lg 10000? So do you informative guys know of a website i can go to to compare specs on these phones. I'm not in business but ill be mainly typing up documents for school while at work etc. I was really leaning toward the XV6800, but id like to make an informed decision before shelling out the bucks.

YOU GUYS ROCK KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK 😁

I Got an 8350.... So Far, So Good. I Like It!

Just got my 8350 on Sunday, and while it's obviously too early to be judging certain aspects of the phone (such as durability, or reception in fringe areas), I'm definitely liking what I'm seeing so far.

The phone feels a bit smaller than the specs indicate, maybe 'cuz it's pretty oval in shape. Fits in my jeans change pocket quite a bit better than the 8300 did, and of course, no external antennae to jab me in the side when I sit down.

However the phone is pretty Plain Jane in terms of styling... not ugly, mind you, but you do kinda miss the 8300's sculpted curves.

Also, annoyingly, the 8350 is dark charcoal-colored on the outside, and black on the inside, when probably the phone would've looked better if LG had reversed that. ...

Question on the 30 Day Guarantee...

Q: For your 30 days, they don't count the day that you got the phone as the first day?

If they did, and you got your phone on, say, the 1st, then you'd have to exchange by the 30th.

The way I always thought they did it, they count FROM the day you got it. In other words, you get the phone on the 1st, you have until the 31st to exchange it.

But I could be wrong. Thoughts?

Confessions of a Former Verizon Rep...

Saw this, thought it was interesting:

http://consumerist.com/consumer/verizon/8-confession ... »

I don't agree with him on the first point though. Seems like NE2 on top of the better 2-yr phone pricing makes 2-yr contracts worth considering.

Where you'd get screwed is going from a 1-yr contract to a 2 yr. No NE2, and if your contract is too low, no annual upgrade either. ☚ī¸

Is NE2 Worth It? Need Help

I have a question, im tired of my phone i was wondering whether i should really wait for the NE2? Im on a family plan with my sister and she wants to get a new phone too only that i have then main phone n so she dosent get a NE2 so i always have to give her $50 off my $100 from NE2 so is it really worth it for me to wait about one more year just to get $50 off a new phone?? Also what if i dont wait would i have to pay early termination fee to just get started on a new two year contract just cuz i want to get a new phone?
