emailing ringtones to vzwpix.com
I've been having trouble sending ring tones to my phone lately. I use yahoo and it usually takes 10 time to finally go thru. Is anyone else experiencing this ? Any fixes ? Thanks.

this is kind of interesting. yesturday a guy came into my store looking for a blackberry pearl "voice kit" claiming he was doing a photo shoot for with verizon for the pearl and they sent him to our store took get stuff for the shoot even though we didnt have it. i kept telling him we diddnt have the pearl and he kept saying it was a verizon photoshoot for the pearl with the "can you hear me now" guy.
so i guess we are getting the pearl after all.

Testman site?
Anyone else having trouble getting to it? I'm trying to see if the prices of the phones are changing at all any time soon AND I'd like to see if anything new has showed up! Just can't get on to the site since yesterday!

New phones due in November?
I was in the Verizon store (actually several) and was looking at the RAZR 2. After reading reviews , I am reconsidering that thought . I asked the Verizon rep if he thought the price would come down any time soon and he was quite sure that by November, new phones will come out and reduce the price of the RAZR 2.
Is there anything worth waiting for that is coming out? The LG Prada has been talked about for quite sometime now. Any news?

Using an unlocked Sprint Razr2 V9M on Verizon; possible?
I like the new Razr2, and I like the new OS that it runs. It seems quick, and looks like a good UI over all. Unfortunately as everyone knows.. Verizon likes to put the same old OS on all their phones.
Now.. would using an unlocked Sprint Razr2 work on Verizon? I don't need the VCast feature, so as long as the phone would work for txting, calling, and listening to mp3s off of a microSD(or whatever the razr2 has) still works I'll be fine.
It seems like getting the Razr2 with Verizon is like buying a new high end gaming desktop loaded with Windows 98. :\

Verizon credit checks??
I am getting ready to get my own plan, its time for me to get out from under my parents wings now that i have a job, and i am wondering if i need to get a credit card or can i just use a debit card for my credit check?? What would the charge be if i do not get a credit card, it is not a big deal for me to get one but it will just take time to get one. im not in a rush but just wondering what all i will need to do to accomplish getting my own plan with verizon?

Insurance question...
I'm going to make an insurance claim to Asurion because the screen on my enV is cracked 😢
I've heard horrible things about Asurion and the quality of their phones...so if i'm not pleased with the refurbished one that they send me (for example, the micro sd cover is flimsy. i've heard that one alot..), what can I do to get a better one? Can I go to a verizon store and have them give me another one? What have been your experiences with Asurion?

Has anyone here made a switch from the older TDMA at AT&T to Verizon? How does the service compare? How is the unlimited web browsing, and is the text,picture and video messaging really "unlimited" for the premium package?
I am looking at the LG env phone I hear there is a new one on the way I hope it is out before the Feb 08 TDMA shutdown at AT&T.

Samsung I760 or LG XV6800???
Assuming Verizon comes out with them before 2010, which one is better? I've had the Treo W since it came out and have been fairly pleased. I certainly has it good and issues.

I am not happy. The camera is messed up. The pictures rotate 90 degrees when sent in a pix message. They also save this way. What the heck?
Get a second call or third call while on a call and the caller ID does not work. The hindge make a clicking or poping sound when close with just one hand.
Bummer! Big bummer is that it is slow as crap compare to my old 8700.

Samsung U740 Firmware hack
Bell released the U740. Its been a few weeks and no sign of a firmware hack yet for the verizon version. Anyone have any info?
