Q9m vmail counter reset?

On my main screen, my vmail counter continues to show the number one, even though I have zero voice messages. How do I reset this to zero?

8830 setting off store anti-theft units?

a lady just told me this, and tho I didn't have an actual account, she has to tell different stores as she enters that her phone will set off their devices, and further that it will do so again when she leaves; KINDA big hassle. Tech peeps know if this may be due to the combination of technologies? lemme know, thanks!

VZW Coupe Phone & Samsung u410 Up on VZW's Site

Two more new phones. Add the Q9m and RAZR2 to the mix, and that's... what?... four new phones in the past two weeks?

Too bad. I wanted to be a "VZW NEVER RELEASES ANY NEW PHONES!" troll. It was so hip for a moment there. 🙂

$1.99/Mo. Extended Warranty-- Worth It?

Quick Q: Is the 2 bucks a month extended warranty really worth it? I'm thinking it might be, in order to protect the phone when its in the 'no man's land' area between months 12 and 20, i.e. after the regular warranty has run out, but before you can upgrade again.

And does the extended warranty cover things like the hinge breaking from normal wear (as in, it just broke, I didn't drop or abuse it), or the phone's body coming apart from normal wear?

I worry about such things 'cuz my old Nokia 6256's hinge broke, and I didn't do a damn thing to it. 😕

Guess the best Q is... what does the extended warranty NOT cover?

Phonescoop and the Samsung i760...Does anybody really know???

When will phonescoop bring info on the Samsung i760, with the rumors that I have read about it, it says that it will be coming out before the UTStarcom 5800 and phonescoop already has the information about that phone. What is the hold up on the information for the i760??

NE2 credits

so, I've asked around, and no one in my neck of the woods seems to recollect exactly when the NE2 $100 was changed from all price plans to those above $80 a month, with those being less than $80 and above $35 having a $50 credit after their contract fulfillment. any help would be greatly appreciated!

Buying Advice

I'm looking into buying a PDA and I'd like some seasoned advice from Verizon Veteran's.

Person Preferences:
NOT palm
Touch screen
Qwerty pad

I will use this device mostly as a planner and for internet service on the go.

I've had my eye on the treo 700wx but I'm still new to the company and everyday I find out about a new phone soon to come out.

I also liked that the treo 700wx offered software that would translate my handwriting into text.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Shocker No ROKR

Is there any info on when the Z6TV and Z6c will be coming to Verizon? The phone leak of VZW phone releases last month stated that these two phones should be coming out the same time as the V9m, late August.

Is Wednesday the Only Phone Release Day?

I notice that all these new VZW phone releases are happening on Wednesdays.

Is that the only day of the week that VZW releases new phones?

Why Did the 8300's Price Go Up?

WTH? At least out here in Cali, the 8300's price just went UP $30, from $99 w/a 2-year to $129. Allegedly BOGO for the 8300 has been discontinued as well.

What's the deal? I thought they were trying to clear all those bad boys OUT, so they could start bringing in the 8350s. Doesn't make much sense to up the price. 😕
