Pix Place

Hi everyone,
I've been getting periodic txts from VZW saying that my Pix Place account will be cleared/deleted because I haven't used it in a long time. But the thing is, I've never used it - I don't know what exactly this service is for.

I'm assuming it's an online photo album for your cell pics, but is this a pay-service? If so, how do you know if you're getting charged for it (I don't see it on my bill).

Thanks in advance!

Verizon rebate form shows i760, XV6800, and KPC680 !!! Rebate 9/4 to 10/8

Interesting find on Howard Forums...

It shows mail in rebate details for new Verizon phone purchases from Tuesday 9/4 to 10/8.

The three eagerly awaited devices I notice on this list is:
Samsung i760
Verizon (HTC) XV6800
Kyocera KPC680

(for those not familiar with the Kyocera KPC680, its the followup to their successful KPC650 EVDO card. The 650 was the best one ever to grace the Rev0 network and the 680 is looking to be the best for the RevA network.I have a need for speed and this is the wholly grail of EVDO cards)

sch-u700 (gleam)

Anyone know what this phone is or when it will launch? I've seen nothing on it but the nickname "gleam" is intriguing. Any info would be great. Thanks.

Initial Reaction to V9M

So I just got my V9M in the mail and got the esn activated to my account. I've gotten about 30 minutes of play time with it so far. My first thoughts are mostly about the text messaging system since thats probably what I use my phone the most for. Right off the bat I realize there are no (parenthesis symbols), so no more smiley faces in text messages. Also, I can't seem to figure out how to make iTap the primary entry mode. I hope I'm just blind because it would be awful to have to manually select iTap every time I go to write a message. The phone itself feels and looks really nice. Although it is also very smudge prone and shows fingerprints very nicely. Hope to hear what everyone else thinks about their V9M.

XV-6800 (a/k/a Mogul PPC-6800)

Has anyone heard anything about a release date for the HTC XV-6800 for Verizon? It's the equivalent of the Sprint PPC-6800 and I had read somewhere July 18th but I cannot find the link now.

Here is a link to a very detailed review of the phone on www.pdaphonehome.com

Thanks in advance for any information you might have.

Verizon is screwing me over

looks like I cant escape from the big red devil. I used well over 5000 'in' minutes last month and seldom use less. The best tmobile has is 5000 for 130 bucks and that wont cover me, damn near everyone I know is 'IN' any ideas?

Release date for Samsung U900

I've read "2nd half of 2007". It's the second half of 2007. Any release date yet? I swear I saw this in a Verizon store in Peabody Mass. on August 17th. I went back on the 20th and they no longer had the phone out for display. Any help would be great. Thanks.
