Hi i coulda bought the Lg 8350 today over the phone. I asked about new phones and they offered me it. Its being offered in select markets right now

i visited a verizon wireless, circuit city, and bestbuy store and none had a dummy or actual 8350 to show.

any ideas when any of these stores will have them for display?

Could someone point me in the direction of where I can find a nice EVDO coverage map? I know the verizon site has one but I dont seem to understand it. Maybe I am a bit slow but is there any other maps out there that could help me see where this coverage is at?

on this phone at all! I've visited a few stores and the reps dont' seem to know much about it at all. I also tried to call my local store and they didn't know much at all. ALso, why do the verizon reps push the LG's so much!?!??

im with verizon right now and i want to switch to helio for the ocean unless there is some new keyboard phone thats not a smart phone coming really soon is there?

Screen looks too small for me...says only 128x200 pixels. Looks like a cool, tiny phone though. Release is expected in the first half of 2008

as much as I love the fanboyism of you vzw users I have to ask... do you all never roam?? its all vzw all the time huh?? is that why the map is big and red? vzw has no roaming agreements whatsoever? or no need for them?.. just asking because a lot of you are so quick to put down other carriers networks like youve never had to use it before.

Lots of postings about color and rebate. Seems that each store has a different idea of what color the phone is and also what rebate to offer. Don't all of the corporate stores have to offer the same rebate AND color? Confusing...

ok every month i pay for insurance i told them i wanted the complete insurance and i found out today (3 months later) they signed me up for the wrong one. and they wont fix it. but either way i have the equiptment replacement insurance and warrenty still. and i called verizon to exchange my phone under warranty bc they do that and they wanted to send me hte same phone, the 6700 and all i want is a regular phone back. this one is too techy and wont let me send/recieve pics/flix. i justwant my old phone the enV. and they wont do it. i told htem i payed $70 for this phone and im just wanting to go back to myold phone and they dont have to refund me. and they wont do it. they want to send me the 6700. if they send me the enV it will save them $...

My Treo died.

It happened about three weeks ago, and I can’t say I didn’t see it coming. I bought a Treo 700p in early January and have had buyer’s remorse pretty much ever since.

I chose it because I was a longtime user of the Palm Pilot, and had all my data already stored on the Palm application on my computer. I just got the Q9M with my old plan. 900min unlimited text, picture, and video messaging, and pay as you go data. 3 questions. 1. If i send or receive a pix or video message will it get charged as data. 2. If I put a block and data what exactly will be blocked. Will I not be able to send texts any more. and 3. With either the pay as you go or blocked data can i get a wifi card for the phone and go on the internet without being charged?

After 14 mos, my 8300 began to die (wouldn't hold a charge) and the tech person at my local store suggested it was the phone and battery and that I go through Asurion to get a replacement. Not knowing any better I placed the claim. Asurion has sent me two phones, neither of which feels even close in quality to my original. In fact, neither micro SD door stays closed or flush to the phone. It seems as though they took the 'guts' of the phone and put a cheap replacement case on it.

In any case, I complained enough that they offered me a new rather than a refurbed phone. Unfortunately, since the 8300 has been 'discontinued' (their words, not mine), they can only offer me an 8600. I've heard mixed reviews. Can anyone with experience...

Anyone noticing a problem recently with the Backup Assistant application? Even though the web page shows the correct association of names and numbers, there are a lot of errors in the contacts in my handset. Primarily the problems are with numbers associated with the wrong names or multiple listings. This seemed to have started this evening.

Reinstalling the application on the handset accomplished nothing except that it deleted my contacts on the web site. I was able to undelete them from the trash bin. Phone is a Moto E815.

Does anyone know if you can access Gmail from Mobile Email? I had a guy ask me this, and I didn't know the answer.

I contacted my corporate rep who never got back to me.

I looked around in eroes but didn't see any indication one way or the other.

The brochure wasn't helpful.

I tried to look it up on Verizon's website, but that part of the Verizon's website is firewalled. 👿

Does anyone know?

Don't know if this has been covered yet, but the price is now 200 with a 2 yr. looks like that u900 might be soon....

I posted on the v9m forum but am hoping to get other opinions on this forum.

Everyone that has received this phone so far has said it to be a bronze/brown combination color. I have been to 8 different Verizon stores and all that I have seen is a black/silver version. Are there two different versions of this? I am in NJ and would be willing to travel a bit to get the brown version IF there is one. Perhaps the brown version looks black in the store? I don't know nor did any of the Verizon reps that I talked to.

I have a dumb question but why when you get a phone covered by warranty do they only ship you the phone and not the battery door? I understand not geting a battery and you need to use your old one but why do we have to have a new replacement phone with an old door?
