I have to rant for a moment. I love Verizon's service. The reception and call quality are beyond compare. However, I am seriously considering leaving Verizon for either T-Mobile or At&t/Cingular because of Verizon's poor phone selection.

Why would it take Verizon over a year to get the razr? By the time it came, the new was worn away... the craze was practically over. Now, I notice T-Mobile has the fabulous Samsung t629. Its a sexy, slim slider. It looks phenomenal and it a wonderful size. Sure, Verizon just came out with a Samsung slider... in fact, its only available in three markets...but it already debuted for the GSM carriers over a year ago. your thoughts and comments on the new program verizon is rolling out on March 26th. It sounds to me that is is going to be a great proram as long as verizon wireless takes back used phones like they are saying they are.

I have been using bitpim to make ringtones for over a year now, and was completely happy with it. I don't use the cable at all, just send them to myself as a pix message. All of a sudden, when I click on the plus sign, to make a new ringtone, it takes me to my music files, which is fine. However, when I picked one before, it would then bring up the box to convert the file. Now it just adds the whole song into the ringtones file. Anybody ever had this problem? I completely uninstalled and reinstalled Bitpim, and it still does the same thing. I have tried a couple other programs, but am not getting comparable quality. Anyone have any suggestions? Thank you!

hey peeps, I got a customer that has a parrot 3200 ls-color for his lexus, and has an lg 8100. It's not compatible with much (within verizon), and he wants to sync his full contact list, share pics with it through the viewing screen, blah blah blah.

Is this a result of the blue-tooth crippling that VZ has done to their phones, and are newer phones the same way? Lemme know, please, any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Has Verizon and Palm worked out the bugs in the treo 700 series? I'm considering the 700p or the en-v here in the very near future.

I've had the LG VX8100 for 2 years now and I have to say it's the best phone I've ever owned, however, I'm getting extremely bored with it. I borrowed a friends Q and have been using that for a week or so and I have to say it's probably the worst phone I've used in the past 5 or 6 years. I'm switching back to my LG.

My contract is up in May and I want to stick with Verizon but I haven't seen any phone that interest me at all. I'd like a PDA phone, I like Windows Mobile, I like all the customizations that can be made but form factor is a big issue.

Is anybody aware of any new phones that are going to be released that are cutting edge other than the TV phone that is coming out.

I have to leave VZW 😢 It's a long story so I'll spare everyone the BS. Anyway, I'm still in contract and want to somehow get around the ETFs. I've seen a link about getting out of the fee because of the texting rate hike, but there seemed to be some discrepancy with some of the people posting as to what is legitimate. Does anyone know the actual name of the gentleman hired to portray the Verizon Wireless "Can you hear me now?" test man or what marketing firm is used to develope those particular ads?

My wife and i have brand new chocolates...this morning after she woke up and went to take hers off the charger...it stated she had 1 bar of power...before unpluggin it it said fully charged....she plugged it back in and unplugged it before she left for work a lil while later and it now says 4 bars....is this an on going issue? She has software version 5.

Also, does anyone know what version 6 provides? thanks!

Okay this post is actually specifically for the sprint commercial that keeps posting here known as raycarroll70...

The First phone I got some 5 years ago at age 16. It was a sprint phone and at that point anything that could make a call was good enough for me. I signed up for a 39.99 Plan with i think 500 mins. the first few months were fine. but after a few months I got a $180 phone bill!!! My mom was pist and she call cs. they told her i went over my mins. so she took the phone away for the month. the next bill came out to $220. this time the phone was in a drawer never turned on for a whole month!!! the cs this time said that they bill a month in advance, and that i went over my mins 2 months in a row. so my phone stayed in the drawer ...

I was wondering what the differences were between version 4, 5 and the new 6 of LG chocolate phone? we currently have 5 on the phones we just got last week and don't know if we should get 6. Also, as far as using a data cable and bitpim does it matter? thanks!
