i've been hearing unconfirmed reports that you can actually upload a file into an A990 and use it as a ringtone, but it has something to with converting the mp3 file into a wma file first? is this true?

I currently have LG 8600 after previously having a Motorola e815, and I must say that the reception sucks.

Just got a Verizon SLVR......its not to shabby!!! I personally like the voice quality of Motorola's and this is great. The Silver color looks alot sweeter than the Black with all the other companies.

My new Treo 650 is great. But...


I would also like a G'zone Type V for more rugged activities. There's no way my 650 could withstand any harsh activity.


Since I bought my 650 outright, my upgrade date is May. So I would like to use that upgrade to get a G'zone Type-V, and then just reactivate the Treo and use the Gzone when I need a rugged phone.

What is the easiest way to switch these two phones? Would online ESN swap work? Probably not...

I'm getting my son a phone for his birthday. He wants a razr style phone and I'm thinking about a v3m or krzr.

I want the parental chaperone feature, the ability to limit the numbers he can call and have a music player that I can control the content on.

I would also like to get a skin with his favorite team on it but I can't find any for the v3m on vskinz. Does that sound right?

Anything at all? I have a freind that works for Verizon Wireless as an RF Engineer and is involved in the testing of new phones. He said that not only has it been FCC Approved, but it has also been VZ Tested and cleared. But he has no release dates. Anyone?

I'm a flight attendant and I also have a small business on the side. My business clients contact me through email about 5 times a day. Nothing too heavy. Right now I access my email through a web client which is problematic because my access to a PC is extremely limited due to my travel schedule. I need to respond to my clients emails asap throughout the day. What's the best solution to my situation? I talk less than 400 peak mins a month. Is the $79.99 voice/unlimited data plan using a 8703 BB the way to go?

Seriously, what is going on? I heard there were software problems? Any truth to this? The verizon reps still say they're getting it though but possibly not until mid-April? Anyone know if there's any truth to that?

I was browsing the forums at treocentral.com, and someone mentioned paying for a mobile web package with his Treo 650, and not the Broadband one. I'm confused. Is there a seperate plan for EVDO PDAs and 1x PDAs? If so, how much is the 1x rate? Thanks.
