Question for VZW CSR's...

How much are you allowed to credit while on the phone with the cutomer and is there actually an "adjustment review board" for any adjustments over that amount?

Phones that can handle two phone lines...anyone know?

After weeks of research I purchased a Motorola Q which supports multiple phone numbers only to find out that the feature had been disabled by Verizon. So now I'm back to square one and the phone store and technical support is wishy washy on which phones support having multiple lines. (They assured me the Q did.....but it did not in the end)

Does anyone out there know which, if any, current verizon phones support mutiple phone lines? I would prefer a PDA type phone.

WINDOWS MOBILE CROSSBOW! Samsung i760

Just saw on phonearena that Verizon is coming out with 3 new smartphones. 2 by UT Starcom and one by Samsung, BUT the Samsung is the only one of the 3 that's sporting the upgraded version of Windows Mobile dubbed Crossbow. Does anyone know what's upgraded??? Hopefully, screen resolution. If anyone knows please let me know! Thanks!

Indirect Sales Locations Warning

This is a warning to all VZW customers based on a memo we received recently.

Some background information:
All credits applied to accounts are applied for one of two reasons:

1. Verizon Wireless Error - Your priceplan was not changed as requested, a priceplan change was futuredated rather than backdated, wrong feature added when phone activated, etc.

2. Customer Satisfaction Credit - Essentially this means as far as VZW is concerned it was your own fault and we couldn't care less, but if you shut up we'll throw a token amount of money at you.

The big difference is that a customer can receive one and only one Customer Satisfaction credit in a rolling 6 month period. VZW Errors don't matter, you get those credits as many times as n...

Well people I think its time for the usual team builder. Please answer the questions below:
1. How long have you been a member of PS?

2. What current VZW phone do you have and why?

3. What is your favorite VZW phone of all time?

4. What would be your ulitimate phone; only stipulation is that u can only use existing VZW phone parts or specs.

Thanks

Nokia 6265i

So, I've been lurking on this board for some time now and have found it to be an excellent source of information on phones / bluetooth techy stuff / plans / etc. As my plan renewal date approaches, July 4th'ish, I've been actively reading reviews of current phones and have been heavily considering the 8300 as it gets such great reviews from everyone on here.

But, I checked out phonearena the other day and was amazed by the Nokia 6265i -- supports bluetooth DUN and various File Transfer methods, full duplex speaker, looks fairly attractive, MiniSD slot, MP3 player, 2MP camera, and a release date of June 17 (again, according to phonearena.com)

So, my question is -- what don't I know? Is there something terrible about this phone tha...

It almost happened...

With my business, having a smartphone/PDA is extremely useful during downtime which is often... I was pulled in by Sprint's $15 web plan and made the call to do the port over since I have Verizon... This was the second time I called because the first time was just for answering some questions.

The guy I spoke with today was such an ahole, but I was like whatever, just get the sale done... Evrything that was answered to me the first call was not correct according to the second call and that just threw a switch to me that said,"Sprint definitely sucks."

I guess I just can't see myself getting a verizon smartphone/PDA plan unles they lower their rates. At the end, I'll always stay with Verizon because of their consistency and reliabl...

N&W Please clarify

This is in there TOS:
Unlimited Night & Weekend Minutes
Night Hrs: (M–F) 9:01 p.m.–5:59 a.m.
Wknd Hrs: 12:00 a.m. Sat.–11:59 p.m. Sun.

So that tell me night covers 901pm to 1159pm fri. And 1200am is monday so that falls into the m-f 901pm to 559am. Since Monday is included in nights 1200am on monday to 559am would be nights!! Why do people insist on reading into things! If this is not true then someone that works for verizon please let me know. Maybe I am the stupid one? Won't be the first time! Since the post in another thread I am now curious!

I have been 🤤 over the new titan coming out on January 18. I am going to be a new ppc user and would like some suggestions as to websites that have cool programs and downloads for my new ppc.

I'm looking for games, and software for some one that is NOT using it for work, just for play and media stuff. Price is not that important but free is always bettter. Thanks

need a new phone!

Help! I am trying to figure out what new phone to get. Right now, I am trying to decide between the LG VX8600 and Motorola krzr. I like the size of both of them, but I like the fact that Motorola advertises more minutes and I am not thrilled about the bad reviews of the LG speakerphone.

Any advise would be very welcomed!!!
Thank you

Hello Red Empire!

Was once a Cingular dealer manager in Manassas, VA. Now I'm a Verizon Agent General Manager in Manassas, VA.

I control all the phone ordering and I was pretty overwhelmed with the number of phones sold by Verizon Wireless. It looks like I have to pick and choose which ones I will favor over the others. So far the Samsung rep is the only one who visited me of all the ones I contacted.

To other agents: Do you guys have a free phone for a customer who walks in and asks for a free phone? I'm thinking of using the Samsung a870 for that purpose for those who can do rebates and the Nokia 2366i for those who don't want to do a rebate. This is with 2 year contract of course. I could also go with the Motorola w315 which is $2 more than the...
