My Chocolate keeps freezing

no one answered this in the Chocolate forum so I know I can trust you guys..

"I started my 15 day trial last monday so I've got some time left, thankfully.

What should I do? Three times so far while playing songs my phone has FROZE--I can't do anything on it, no buttons work, touch pad or key pad and the display stays on so I have to take out the battery and put it at back in.

I don't have a memory card yet, so my phone says I'm using 21,000 of 46,000kb for my phone (rounded off) and 15,000 of 47,000kb for my music. I'll probably take it back tomarrow to see if they have any advice...but why should I keep a phone thats already freezing on me?

could be a glitch in this particular phone.
What are they going to do, anyone know?"

vZW JOB: 3 interviews, now background check

My wife went to an interview at VZW last week and got through the 3 interviews and now they told her they were going to do a background check (which is clean, no fabrication at all on resume).
Is this a fairly strong indication that she will be offered something?
The first 2 interviews, the managers seemed generally interested in each of them having her in their district since she has a lot of retail experience.

Mail in rebates suck!

Is there any reason why VZW can't have on-line rebates rather than the mail in process? Costco, Staples, Circuit City all do rebate submissions on a website. Customers hate, I hate dealing with it, having to explain it. Hearing complaints about customers that threw the box away or lost the receipt or lost the form, blah blah blah. Is there a logical, reasonable explanation?

Samsung a650

One of my friends had a Samsung a650 and the hinge cracked and the part with the screen completely fell off. She just got the a630 to replace it.

I know the a670 had some problems with the hinge cracking. Do the 650 and 670 share the same parts? just curious 🙂

Non Camera Phones with Bluetooth?

OK, so this guy comes by the kiosk once a week and bitches because we don't make a phone that doesn't have a camera with Bluetooth. I'm quick to remind him that VZW does not make the phones. And I think it is unlikely that the makers will take all the time and research and development to but Bluetooth in a non camera phone. He always bites back and says 'well your competitors have one'. Anyone know of anything coming.

Samsung a670 or LG 4650?

so after my whole situation with the wet phone...I have looked at phones on ebay which is a better phone for reception and battery life. Also does it matter if I have a retractable antenna or a snub? Thank you.

What's a V Card?

On a RAZR V3, V3cm, LG 9800X, from the Contacts menu, on the Send Menu, Options, Add, there is a VCard option. Wishfully, that would push that contact to Outlook or a device dependant on OPP, like a Lexus.

How do you put the VCard to use? It is a Bluetooth option, I think.

Tossed in the pool PLEASE HELP

Hi I have had a Samsung a670 for about a year now and that thing has caused me not alot of problems...the reception has been good and I have dropped it so many times and it still keeps on ticking, it worked as a phone should.

Anyhow, I am in college and I just got tossed in a pool last night with my cell phone in my pocket and voila now it does not work....go figure! Again I am in college and about a year away from my NE2 and I cannot swing it to pay full retail of almost 250$ to get a new LG 8300.

So my question is do I pick up another Samsung a670 on ebay or is there another phone that is not the new "hit" phone like an LG, Moto or Samsung???????? I would appreciate the advice? also is trimode a necessity? Thank you.

700p and the family share plan

I did a search on this and can't seem to find an answer.

Over the last 5.75 years my single line has expanded into a family share plan. I'm coming due for my NE2 and want to get a 700p. (I'm trying to cut down on the amount of crap I carry on my wheelchair in a day.)

I've looked at VZW.com looking for pricing, but have not been successful. Is the 700p even possible on a FSP? How much monthly for adding data transfer?

thanks in advance.

Is the check in the mail?

I sent in my V710 return. Bought a new one on the website. I already recived my refund for the replacement phone, but no check for the original phone. I sent in the proper reciepts, that was on 6.4.06. So I guess my question is...How long does it take for the check to come? By the way... [email protected] doesn't work. 😕

LG 8300 Demystified Finally !!

I am the guy who discovered the bluetooth disaster with this phone and now after a few months and testing of probably oh my god - 50 headsets, There is a way to enjoy the phone with bluetooth..

The 8300 and yes all 8300's have a Bluetooth design that has problems with echo to the outside caller with most headsets on the market, some more than others but they almost all do it..

Yes it's true that some people dont care about the outside caller getting the feedback and echos and that is okay. Some of us want a crystal clear conversation that you and the outside caller can enjoy. Well for those who want a good clear call at any volume level, you need to use the Plantronics 320 either the R model from VZW or the Silver one from Best buy or ...

LG Chocolate Data

I know you can disable EVDO but can you also disable 1x, too? I rarely use data services and would rather have longer battery life from digital-only signal. Thanks!
