Anyone ever try to drop Verizon's service early?

I am a happy customer of Verizon Wireless for a few years now. Unfortunately, the house I'm moving to north of Boston, Massachusetts gets a very week signal from Verizon (surprisingly). Has anyone ever gotten Verizon to waive the early termination fee for a reason such as this? I heard it can be done, but I'm wondering if they'll give me a hard time.

Will be dropping verizon asap

I've been having problems with my phone for a long time, and verizon refuses to do anything about it. I just spent over an hour on the phone with them, and was treated like complete garbage. You think they would help someone out who has had them for about 6 years. Unfortunately, I am stuck with a nearly unusable phone, which I still need to pay a monthly fee for, until next june.
Why can't they actually help their customers? I cannot wait to get rid of them after this.

NewEvery1

My contract will be up at the end of the month of August--however, I need a phone now. (My battery is crap)

Is it possible to renew your contract anytime...and when renewing it,-buy a new phone at that contract price? Like new every 2, but mine would be new every 1.

I'd just like to buy a new phone now instead of waiting a month so I can learn it before college starts again

thanks

p.s. the chocolate doesn't have flash on its phone. that sounds pretty important, doesn't other phones have flash, i.e. vx-8300?

Business sales w/ verizon

Hello everybody...just a few questions.

I'm in the interview process with an agent for Verizon doing business sales called Wireless Zone. I was wondering if any of you could give me some feedback on this company and Verizon (I come from a T-Mobile background, and currently work at a retail that sells tmo cing and spint/nextel). It is a franchise owned by a few guys, so I wouldn't be working for Verizon directly. It's also 100% commission.Has anyone in here worked in a situation like this? 😳

Info manager has nothing new - Does anyone hear about anything else for the Summer ?

Hey guys,

Anything else coming this summer or early fall ?

We kind of thought the Sams 870 which I was hoping would be nice.. LIke the 5300 - cheap with bluetooth.. No idea when ?

Any other phones on the horizon ?

Seems all we waited for is out and not to my surprise only one is good - The 8300 and the 5300 kind of.. Aside from the awful bluetooth stuff.

I want more phones to test 🙂

New Blackberries?

The 7250 has been out now, I was wondering if any of the pros of the board know of any new BB coming out in the near future. I really like the Cingular BB, the 7130c... Anyone?

Nokia 6236i a solid phone?

I want a reliable phone which will receive and make calls well over any other features. I have used a nokia 6230 and it does the job. I found a motorola V60 awkward. I think I'd prefer a bar phone unless a particular flip phone definitely has better reception. Is the 6236i a reasonable choice? Most people report a positive experience in regard to reception. Thanks

getting a interview/job at verizon wireless?

what do I need to do to get an interview and job at verizon wireless? I've applied numerous times but haven't gotten an interview even. I've worked as a cashier/customer service for 7 years now mainly cashier but you also service customers when you work as a cashier. I've helped stock shelves before also. I worked at best buy for 7 months where we had to sell magazines. I have an associates in Cisco, Computers and information technology,Microsoft Applications, and A+ computer repair. I don't understand why I haven't gotten an interview or a job at verizon wireless yet. Maybe someone here can help me figure out how to get an interview and hopefully a job.

Is Verizon ever going to get

NEW PLANS.

It has been a long time since they rolled out new plans. It is getting to the point that they are getting boring. I know that verizon is still getting the add ons they want, but, they could probably do better if they changed plans here and there. Heck, even US Cellular has rolled out new plans.

At least give us some new features to choose from. Heck, I have been thinking about switching to Us cellular just for a change

Verizon Call Tone

Does verizon support this? Btw i just upgraded from a Audiovox cdm-9900 to the LGvx8300 instead of the chocolate(had to say it).

But i mean if someone calls me instead of hearing the dial ringer, they can hear maybe a ringtone or song? Thanks 😎

    Need plan selection help.

I'm in the UK at the moment but will be returning to my home in Mt. Shasta, CA in a couple of weeks. Verizon is just now offering plans there and I'm interested in signing up with them or US Cellular. My stomping grounds are the entire West Coast , Idaho and Montana. US Cellular would work but I might too often violate their 50% policy regarding using non-USCC towers in a given month. I understand Verizon doesn't have such a policy. I cannot decipher from the Verizon site whether I can get a plan under which I can travel in the mentioned areas and be free of roaming and long distance charges. I want to be able to make and receive a call and not have to worry about either. Presumably I want a national plan, maybe 400-600 minutes, but the fine...
