I still think verizon phones suck

I have the 8300 and it a good phone, but thats really all they have that is worth a damn..yes I have seen the chocolate and it feels cheap and won't stand the test of time. I still see verizon missing the technology boat especially with Sprint announcement today.

Sprint To Launch 4G in 2007
Today, 10:47 AM source: Sprint Nextel

Sprint today announced they will roll out their 4G wireless broadband network beginning in the fourth quarter of 2007. Though it tested many options, the carrier chose to use the 802.16e mobile WiMax standard. They believe this choice will provide the carrier and subscribers with the maximum number of compatible devices at the lowest cost. Both Motorola and Samsung will partner with Sprint to provide d...

Who's the best?

LG has some of the highest rated phones with the VX9800, VX8500, and the VX8300. Does anyone else agree with me that LG makes the best phones? Motorola still has their charging port issue and Samsung phones seem to not hold up that well. Nokia's just seem cheaply built.

What are your guys thoughts? Who do you have the most luck with? Which do you sell the most of?

I would just like to see your thoughts and opinions. Thanks in advance!

Sirius on the Q

I posted this in the Q forum too, but I wanted to post it here too because I'm really looking for some help:

I downloaded the Sirius program for the Q when it was posted on here and it worked wonderfully for a couple of months. Now all of a sudden it is telling me that the connection failed. I know it isn't a data network issue because I can still access the internet when I am having this problem.

Did Verizon block the ability to listen to Sirius on the Q? Is anyone else having a problem?

Any help or input would be greatly appreciated.

Using RAZR V3c for BroadBand ... does it work well?

Just wondering what I could expect if I used my RAZR V3c on my laptop for EVDO access ... anyone use that? I am considering a card but would rather not buy one. I am a REALTOR and need decent access while at open houses and at client's homes where there is no WiFi. Suggestions and such would be appreciated.

Opinion On The Chocolate

Just want to throw in my 2 cents ...

Had a chance to play with the "chocolate" today. My personal opinion, if you want a music player (ipod like), the device is for you. If you're looking for a good sounding, full featured phone that can also play music, get the VX8300. The chocolate was small, real nice looking but fingerprints would definitely be an issue with me. One thing I didn't like was the "touch sensitive" directional wheel on the front. I don't know what all the hoolpla is about with the phone. I think it's definitely geared towards the younger crowd though. Anyone else agree ??

Chaperone Question

The Chaperone program was released earlier this year as a 'Child Locator' to work with the MIGO phone and another Chaperone capable phone.

Is the MIGO still the only GPS 'trackable' phone that you can use without getting into the business solutions, like Field Force manager or Fleet Manager?
