Hear This!

This is for all who use their phones in public and love to speak LOUD during conversation.
What I love is when someone gives their number out loud to either person on the other end of the phone or yells it across the room. So what do I do. I call fron another phone that can't be traced, and tell them I will keep calling them (no cost to me) to teach them a lesson not to speak so loud next time! Yes, this may be immature, childish, rude and mean. But if you think you are so "cool" to be obnoxiously loud, you get what you deserve, a prank call.
Now I am sure you probably wouldn't be happy to hear this, so tell all your buddies to keep their voices down! Or you could be the next idiot I call.
If I want to hear your conversation or...

A990 Problem

I wanted to know if anybody else is experience extrememly crappy battery life? I have this phone as my second line so therefore I dont use it much, I dont use the bluetooth or have it in EVDO coverage (nowhere close to a fringe area either), I had the phone charged copletely at 5pm, took it off the charger, didnt use it at all, then this morning at 8an it woke me up beeping at me to recharge it, I only got about 15 hours of standby time and didnt use it a SINGLE time!

This is the average standby time I have been getting for the phone ever since I got it.

Has anybody else experienced this issue with the battery?

LG-VX9900 in sept

http://www.uberphones.com/2006/07/lg/verizon_launche ... »

"Looks like a Verizon field report shows that both the Pantech PN-820 and LG VX9900 handsets will be launched when September 4 rolls around. The clamshell PN-820 runs on the Windows Mobile 5.0 Operating System and fuses both high-end functionality and stylish design. Unfortunately, it lacks EV-DO connectivity, a feature that ought to be compulsory in all smartphones. The LG VX9900 will succeed the VX9800, boasting a thinner, sleeker look and feel. Here's a little trivia - both cellphones were approved by the FCC in May."

We're going to see if we can find it cheaper somewhere else

Ok, So I just had a very nice elderly couple in.

They walk in the store. I say hi and ask how they are doing, they reply "Oh, I sure hope you can help us, we travel and need a phone that will work in a certian place" They then pull out thier 2 foot tall atlas and open it up to a remote place in South Carolina, I show them on the brocure that it is indeed covered, I even went into VZW Map and showed the the particular city they were traveling to. Sure enough it has great coverage.

They are very happy becasue they will be able to make phone calls and will have reliable coverage when traveling. I proceed to show them the phones, I agreed to sell them a 3300 for free on a 1 year contract. The husband loves the phone and so does his wife, ...

My Lg-8500 Review

Take my review for what its worth My opinion and strictly My opinion. As allways the best way to decide if you like something is to try it yourself.

The (Lg-8500) Chocolate

8.5 outa 10
All digital Music Phone

Initial Impression
-Sleek, sexy, easy to hold and can't stop slideing it open. This phone works allot like the 830 by samsung they use magnets to keep it open.
(NO SPEAKERPHONE)

- User interface while similar to the 8300 is not quite as responsive. I found a one day learning curve on getting the touch interface to perform and respond in a fashion that did not have me pulling my hair out. That being said ONCE you get used to it the interface fly's while sllightly laggy I found myself 1-2 steps inhead of the menu.

-Opt...

Question for VZN sales/tech people

I own a Audiovox CDM 9900. I don't know if its either my phone or the network, but for a while now I have been getting little or no reception. I used to get excellent reception compared to when I had Nextel. People have told me to get a new phone, but others insist that its a network thing. I really dont want to get a new phone, mainly because I don't want to spend a lot of money for phone I don't like (not too impressed with Verizon's current lineup). Wondering if there are any suggestions. Thanks!

LG 9800 weak reception

I just got a LG9800 and I like the phone's features however my reception in my town (suburban/rural) is worse than my previous phone (V710).
I was wondering if anyone would have any suggestions or has had these problems of weak reception/dropped calls/and no service at all. When I called Verizon locally they suggested a tri phone?.

Thanks

Need Help.. Internet on Phone!!!!

They are taking away our internet access at work. I want to get a phone with internet access. We don't have verizon broadband in my area yet. I bought a lg vx8300 and got the mobile web and I couldn't get into any websites. Is there anything else I can do???

In October I can get a new phone. Should I get a Treo, Blackberry or the Q can you get mobile web on these phones?

What is the $44.00 data access plan? Can you get into websites with that? Also, would I be able to get streaming live video with the 44.00 data access or the mobile web???

I am so confused. Any help will be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks

Nomo Moto (e815)

I was browsing the Verizon website today, and noticed that the e815 has been taken off as phones available to purchase. I know it is a year + old at this point, but I have heard very good things about the phone and was considering the purchase when my NE2 comes around in September.

In the recent days Motorola has released information on it's new line-up of phones, with seemingly nothing to replace the e815. So, does anyone know of anything that might be in the pipeline that isn't a RZR type phone and has the superior reception of the e815? Also, do you think the e815 will be available ANYWHERE in September?

new j.d. powers study

the new jd survey shows that vzw and t-mobile are tied for first in customer care perormance alltel ranks second and sprint/nextell and cingular rank last . Its prett funny that cingular and sprint/nextell got beat by alltel especially since the only have one fifth the customer base people can say all they want that these surveys are meaningless but its not an independent research company coming up with own data this the voice of the people. Full report can be viewed @ www.jdpower.com
