ANYWAY...SINCE THE INCREDIBLE "ISN'T" RECOMMENDED....

WHAT ABOUT THE SAMSUNG FASCINATE?

-I'VE NEVER HAD SAMSUNG ON VERIZON, HOW IS THE SIGNAL STRENTH IN LOW SIGNAL CALLING AREAS?

-HOW ARE SAMSUNGS BATTERYS NORMAL ON FETURE PHONES?

so it's been a long while since i used my new evey two which i was reminded by verizon i am eligible for that upgrade on October 4th.

perfect timing since my blackberry storm first generation has a cracked screen and MANY glitches,and i pretty much hate it.

i am sure i am going for the droid x. my question is two part.

A. what is the price i will be asked to pay? forgot the new every two details} so i can have my money ready.

b. would you buy in a store or over the phone, i ask because someone told me if you order over the phone you get a better deal?
no idea if that is true.

How sweet is this 😁 Both my youngest son (25) and I (none of your business lol) are due. This could be soooo coooool. The BOGO seems to include any smart phone at the same price (usual stuff). Right now Vz has so many cool phones at this price point I'm not sure I can make up my mind but this phone looks to be da bomb, can't wait to see it for myself.

I am curious if this might be the merge with the 1+ ghz processor and 10mp camera?? Or maybe it is the Droid Pro seeing as it has GSM in it as well.

Palm Pre+ has wi-fi hotspot for free, other phones, like the Droid X you have to pay extra.

A friend is thinking about either the Droid 2 or the Droid X . I have explained my thoughts about both phones to her. She would like some thoughts from other people.

Is it just me, or is this the last half of 2010? Why does Phone Scoop's description of Verizon Wireless include the following: "Verizon purchased Alltel in early 2009, and will integrate Alltel gradually during the middle of 2009"?? Shouldn't this read: "Verizon purchased Alltel in early 2009, and is currently updating to an LTE network."?? Does PhoneScoop even pay attention to their site? 🤨

Verizon told me yesterday I can upgrade early. I currently have the Eris. I am debating upgrading to the X or the Incredible, but I also was considering waiting until Christmas.

Like Jay said in another post LTE is right around the corner. So getting a new phone then is a bit silly.

Do you guys think Verizon will let people upgrade early to an LTE device once they are available and your market has service?

I am stuck. My Eris improved with 2.1 but is a bit sluggish. 😕

I normally can't wait for new devices, but I was looking for opinions.

I was playing with both the Droid X and Droid 2 today at my local store. I must say that I came impressed with both phones, but the floor model of the X was sluggish and it froze up a few times cause I couldn't unlock it. This is gonna make my decision harder than I thought.

Droid 2 & Droid X are just 2 that were recently released that will be EOL by March of 2011. WoW the cycle of these smartphones are fast!!!

Personally I think anybody who buys a new smartphone in spring of next yr is stupid, considering LTE smartphones will next summer.

Why is the update to 2.2 taking so long on the X? Anybody know?

Audible For Android is NOW available in the market! And yes, it can be stored 2 SD card, which is always a good thing.
