I was wondering if you guys could tell me what somebody means when they are selling a phone and it says "Clean ESN#" or "Bad ESN#" I am looking at purchasing a phone off ebay and I see some that say clean or bad and I just want to find out what I can about them. Also can a Bad ESN# be turned Clean???

I heard someone said that they waited til they're EnV Touch phone die, then fully charged and overtime repeated it gave him more battery life. Is this true with alot of phones?

I got my replacement phone with Verizon today and the phone will not read the memory card with some pics i had stored on it from that phone and another one i took pics from. I don't feel it needs formatting but when i put the card in the computer one day it wouldn't eject thinking it was in use with something even though it was not and i took the memory card out with the slot reader and now that card and the other i have will not read. But it will read fine in my other phone. Any suggestions???

I was just wondering if anyone knows why verizon isn't launching windows phone 7 at launch? I am a huge xbox fanboy and I can't wait to get achievements on my phone but I am defiantly not going to at&t to get them.

Anyone know how to turn off the sms notification bar (so the message doesn't display on the status bar) BUT still allows an audible alert when messages arrive?

If this can only be done by using an app to do text messages any recommendations on a good one?

Hey guys first question is 1) On the enV Touch phone people have said that they could go back down to V09 from V10 but a rep at the store told me that wasn't possible. Do you guys know how to downgrade?

2) Also i was debating about getting the Voyager phone because i hear the phone doesn't have the rebooting issue when you browse the net or something. Can someone confirm this too?

I'm an unabashed nerd and i just ordered the phone. I've been in love with the star wars idea since the original moto droid was released.

Today, Verizon announced it would be selling iPads (WiFi versions), either with or without MiFis for mobile Internet access.

The plans:

1GB/mo for $20/mo
3GB/mo for $35/mo
5GB/mo for $50/mo

I think I'd much rather these plans than the ones on regular aircards and MiFis. I know I'd save money.

Also, I wonder if this is a precursor to data buckets.

How do I check whether the ESN for a used phone is "clean"? Is there a site similar to www.checkESN.com for Verizon? Do I call Verizon customer service? Visit a store?

As you can tell, I'm new to this!

I just got the Ally and I wanted the VZ Navigator on it because I like the audiable turn by turn directions. However, this phone will not load the Vz Navigator. Does google maps have a audiable one that will talk to me, not just me give directions? Or is thier an application in Droid Mkt that will work here in the US for audiable turn by turn. Thanks

I am starting a new job this week...Been a long time and now I am able to upgrade my phone...Is the Droid X still the most powerful phone for Verizon or is there something better?

For years I have carried around a personal phone and a work Blackberry. My employer recently made available the option of dumping the Blackberry and using my personal Droid Incredible to receive work email through an app from Good Technology. I jumped at the chance to carry one device and one set of chargers. Because I will be using a personal device to complete business, my company will reimburse me for a portion of my bill. To set-up the service from Good Technology I had to upgrade my data plan from $30 to $45. What difference, if any, will I notice in this data plan upgrade?
