Are Blackberry/PDA features combined now?
I logged into my My Verizon this morning and found that my Unlimited Email and Web feature has been changed to 'UNL PDA/RIM W/VOICE TETHR'. If it had been possible to upgrade to a Berry and keep my features from my XV6900 I would have done so, however now that I am used to the Incredible...I don't want to go back just for BBM.

The $70 plan you may or may not get...
In hearing that VZW is going to offer a $70 plan that includes 450 min/unlimited text/and data I became quite interested in how this was going to work...being the competitive person that I am.
Spoke with the online chat person: "We are not offering a plan like that."
Spoke with customer servcie: "We are currently offering that plan."
Spoke with a corperate store employee: "Only pre-screened customers will be offered that plan."

Well folks its for real this time. I made the purchase I never thought I would do and got the Droid X from Amazon Wireless for $50. I have the same plan plus the added unlimited data for the additional $29.99 per month. I am soooo excited

New plans
Today verizon came out that they are going to waive the cost for additional lines if those lines sign up for the $30 data plan, BUT this is only available to lines that do not already have a data plan. I think verizon may start losing customers to competitors because those competitors are going to offer plans to everyone.
Verizon is already known as being the most expensive, so they try to help that image by offering a cheaper data plan, bu theat plan is only for 150 compared to the 200 that everyone else is offering. They do not seem to help their image regardless of what they do.
By the way I am currently a verizon customer.

Zune software question for new windows phones.
Does anybody know if the zune software on the new windows phones allows you to save the music to your sd card/phone memory? It seems like the most logical thing to do, but I wouldn't be surprised if they used some kind of pandora style constant data connection required method of listening to zune music. Thanks.

I have a line that is eligible for an upgrade and I am pretty much set on getting the Droid X but like all consumers I look for the best price. Through Verizon it is 199.00 after rebated for new and 149.00 for Refurb. I usually check Bestbuy.com to see what they have to offer because they sometimes have better pricing and then I don't need to wait on a rebate but they are the same currently. I went to Walmart.com and put in that it is a 2 yr contract renewal and the Droid X and it has Letstalk.com figuring out the price. It tells me that I will only pay 80.00???? Could that be right??? Sounds to good to be true but I thought I would open it up to everyone to see what their thoughts are. Has anyone used letstalk.com? Could this be real? ...

Early Upgrade
I started having trouble getting my phone to charge and other things happening as well. I am out of warranty and no insurance on the phone. I called Verizon and asked if there was any way I could get approved for an early upgrade because I'm due until March. The operator sort of avoided the question, so I took it as a no. I was wondering if there was anything I could do to possibly get an early upgrade?

Incredible PDF viewer. GONE
They took it away!
So there was an OTA update last Friday and today I noticed that my PDF viewer was no longer installed on my phone. I had it on one of my home screens and noticed that it had turned into the little generic Android icon. When I tried to open it, it said that it was no longer installed on my phone.
I know I sure as heck didn't uninstall it. I could only assume that during the "update" they removed it so that now we have to buy it again.
Bastards.
