is there any way to use either?

i currently have the treo 650, but recently it started to act up(its only 1 yr old) I end up recetting it atleast once a day

I do use the palm options such as contact and calendar, but must admit if I must i can live with out it, back to manual calendar it is

what i do need is advice on a phone, what phone has good options and good abuse limit

just like most people I drom the phone every now and then and I do need a battery to last me more than the Razor phones do

I use about 1600 min a month (business use) and dont wanna have to purchase a new phone every 3 month due to overusage.
Also I owuld like to have something that I can conect to my PC to download contacts instead of retyping them or going to verizon store for transfers...

I am switching from Cingular to Verizon for EVDO. A couple of questions that I can't seem to get answered at any of three stores I went to. (Philly area)

1. All the Verizon phones seem to have the same interface. Is that always the case? I am assuming it is hackable back to the manufacturers interface.

2. Is Vcast the same as internet access? In some basic searches I couldn't find out how to go to a basic URL.

Any idea of when VZW will offer the capability for us (consumer) to track the location of a user (i.e. teenager) via some sort of web-based GPS service?

Who is going to give helio a try. I think I might try, they are using Sprint coverage right now which sucks but plan on adding verizon. I think that is when I will pounce and get me a kickflip. Anyone else?

Isn't it true that an all digital phone will get a better signal than a tri-mode phone because it's not fighting between analog and digital?

Hi I just signed up for service a week ago and I have been trying the nokia 6256i. So far the service with Verizon has been exceptional. I migrated from Cingular and I could not be happier. The thing i noticed about Verizon is that yes the phones are not very exciting as the other carriers. But I can live with that because I need SERVICE. At any rate I have been trying the NOKIA and as much as the I like how it sounds, I am not crazy about the looks and feel of the phone. It feels cheap and plasticky. The hinge is also an issue. I am not sure if this thing is going to break in a few months. Not to mention how ugly and bulky this thing is. I had a Nokia before and I thought that it would be the right choice. Hi, I used a program to convert a Hollywood movie to .3GP format, and it doesn't work on my VX-8100. I try to put on the movie (which it does recognize the name of), but when I press play, it thinks and then shuts down. Does anyone have any advice? Also, does anyone have a free safe (non-trojan) program (other than super)?

For the past couple of days the service around my area (near lake erie) has been off and on. It goes from full bars all day to having no bars or 1 bar for awhile, then back to no bars. It's been off and on like this for about 3 days now, I was wondering if anyone else was experiencing this problem, and if it means maybe they are updating some of the towers in my area, or just something that happens.

Is it possible with the VZW UI on the Razr to send "quick text"? If so, how? I used to be able to do this with my old phones and it was very convenient.

I believe Alltel will one day be purchased by the great and mighty VERIZON WIRELESS. The way the Cellular Industry is going, I believe there will only be three or four major carriers! I know Verizon will be one and also Cingular and Sprint. So enjoy T-Mobile and USCC while they last!
