Battery length...

Myself and as I've seen elsewhere, starting with the LG 6100 and then with the 8100.
At first the life with the 6100 was good
not great, and diminished very quickly,
when I upgraded to the LG 8100 same problem from the start. After a couple replacements is fine. As for a friend of mine also with the LG8100 has had many replacements Batteries as well as Phones to no end, or fix.

New Music Phones Have Crippled MP3?

I was reading on a blog that Verizon will be crippling MP3 playback on the new VCast music phones, like the V3cm.

Does that mean you won't be able to use the expansion card to play your own MP3 music, if you didn't buy it from Verizon?

lg 8100 questions

I'm think up picking up the lg 8100 and have a few questions.

What is this video wallpaper I keep reading about? Is this done using the video recorder on the phone? Can someone explain this to me.

Also can you change the color of the red bars to blue and some other color?

Should I wait and get the 8300? What do you think will be full retail price on the 8300?

Thank you in advance for answering my questions

Question

This may sound stupid. But here it goes, is it possible to activate the Samsung A900 on verizon since it operates on the CDMA 850/1900 frequency (the same as the RAZR)?

Perhaps i would not be able to acsess the sprint features but would the phone operate?

thanks for any help

a few things....

first off, don't be surprised when we as sale reps warn you about how sh##ty the RAZR is, but because its so thin, you just MUST have it and you take it home. Then in 5 minutes it does everything but work correctly.

secondly, how come every time we get a brand new phone, people are unhappy and already asking about when the next one is coming? people were whining and crying about when the sh##ty RAZR was coming out, then when it did, the next day people were already asking for the next phone...

lastly, about the sales survey, i've hit 1.8's the last 3 months, then again, I'm in one of the top stores in the country..

One huge guy+a stolen phone= HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today I had a huge guy come into my store, and he set down his phone last night at a bar, and someone stole it! So I asked do you have insurance... His response, no it is pre paid,so I asked what kind of phone he had. He had two months earlier bought a 8100 from us at full price. He was pissed. I timmidly told him there was nothing I could do being an agent. I told him that he could take it to verizon, and report it stolen, and then tell the athorities about it. I knew this whole time he was screwed, and I found out a few minites later, that he was a bouncer at that bar. WHAT WOULD YOU DO?

Cingular's Claim

Today's New York Times Business Section has an interesting article entitled "Best Cellphone Company? All of Them, to Hear Them Say It". It can be read here:

One section of the article was of particular interest. It reads as follows:

"Cingular Wireless, which spent $6.5 billion on network improvements last year, says its ads are based on findings by Telephia, an independent research firm that collects data on mobile phone networks.

In a letter sent on Monday to the four largest wireless companies, Telephia confirmed that Cingular had a "statistically significant lower dropped-call rate than the competition acros

which upcoming phones will you guys get???

i know the new summer phones have not come out yet but i was wondering which you guys would get if they all came out at the same time. i was leaning towards the samsung a930 and have been since december which is how long i have been waiting. but recently i have been looking more and more at the Nokia 6265i it looks sick and my experience with nokia from way back in the day (talking late 1990's ) was awesome their phones were always great, reception was always great, and most important of all the battery life was great. i don't know how the Nokia 6265i is gonna be but im expecting good things. with my piece said what does everyone else think opinions, and critics are welcomed.
