NEW PHONES COMING

OK, so wheres the 2006 phone roll outs? I mean the top selling phones are still the A950, the VX8100, VX9800, V3C, and the E815.......
Hmmm, these were available in 05.

My girlfriend needs a new phone and doesnt really want any of these!

The only two out right now she is interested in are the 9800 and the CDM8945. Id definately get her the 8945 if it had bluetooth. Why make a VCAST phone that doesnt even have bluetooth?
What she wants is MP3 and Bluetooth... I offer her the a950 all the time and she hates it....

OK, So the 8300 and 5300 are supposed to be coming, i have doubts that the nokia 6305i will ever come.....
WHERE THE HECK ARE THE NEW PHONES????

question regarding new razr software

anyone notice an issue with the new software and the outside display? I noticed after flashing the phone, the outside display wont show the wallpaper anymore. just an orange background and the clock. Is this a bug? a setting that I need to change somehow? I've gone through the menu, everything looks fine. Check out any fru's you may have flashed, are they showing the background?

FINAL BLUETOOTH REVIEW (H700, HS850, H3, BT800)

I've bought and owned all 4 of these bluetooth headsets in search for the best performing one:
- Jabra BT800
- Motorola HS850
- Motorola H3 RAZR
- Motorola H700

I will put them in my order from worst to best (from my personal experiences) with pros/cons.

4. MOTOROLA H3 RAZR
--------------------
** PROS **
(1) Comfortable fit, looks great
(2) Sound Quality was excellent on my end. Loud and very clear
(3) battery is good
(4) rings in your ear when your phone is ringing. nice feature

** CONS **
(1) !!!! Most people complained saying it was either echoing on their end or I sounded loud and muffled. This alone was enough to not keep it.
(2) turning on/off I found fairly annoying. Holding the button for a few seconds seem...

It's time for a poll

Of the following, which of these quotes is the biggest lie-and which one actually effects you.

Nixon- I'm not a crook
Barry Bonds- I have never taken steroids.
Bill Clinton- I did not have sexual relations with that woman.
George Bush Sr. - No new taxes.
Verizon- "Please remember, as part of our Worry Free Guarantee if you ever have a problem, it becomes our problem the first time you contact us."
Cingular- More bars in more places.
Sprint- forget it we don't even need to talk about them.
The fact of the matter, is that we love to hold politicians and celebrities to there word and ridicule them if they do anything wrong. Shouldn't we start doing the same to businesses.

NO MORE SOWHAT!!!!

psych 😁 i'll always stop by. 😛

to get to the point.

the idiot retailer i was employed by cleaned house in order to save face with the carriers they provide for and the stores they provide them in. me being the highest seller of our store for 90% of my time there going first then a few days after the rest of the four guys too.

we sold mulitple carriers. no cingular though.

out on my anis, i figured unemployment is last option. this time i set out for cingy or vzw corp or indirect. i ended up landing a cingy indirect and so far its going good.

by no means is this to brag or what not. i just thought i'd let everyone know sowhat is back with the orange jack and still has love for red bars.

no worry i'm not gonna be a red...

Online Discouts Now Apply to 1-Yr Contracts Too

Browsed VZW's website, saw that they're finally offering the 'online discount' for phone prices on the 1-yr contracts, instead of only the 2-yrs like they used to.

Nice move, if a bit overdue. 🙂

Next thing I'd like to see from 'em is the return of the $59.99 Family Plan. It'd make a lot of peeps happy, and their customer adds would explode (not that they ain't rollin' in already).

remember me- worst luck ever

I thought my bad phone days were over, but then the speaker on my 8100 started fluctuating like crazy. I went to the store with a ten day old phone and they told me that they can't help me anymore. I don't get it. Every problem I have had was duplicated by a tech and I never got upset or impatient with an employee. My history shows that for the last three years I had the same phone with no problems. I need some advice on how to discuss this with cs or possible termination with no fee. Thanks

Why is Verizon afraid of Bluetooth?

Most of the members of this forum know about the Verizon policy of crippling OBEX file transfer between other devices to force all media transmission (whether personal or copyrighted) over the subscriber network.

I've read all of the excuses for the policy, copyright protection, GIN protection, etc. but nobody had been able to offer a viable reason for the policy.

Bluetooth file transfer is just another way to move the same files that can already be moved for free with a data cable or expansion card. It can't access anything special on the phone So why all of the fuss?

Why is Verizon afraid of Bluetooth?

Odds VZW sell pda phone w/out data plan?

What are the chances that VZW will let me by a phone without a data plan? Any rumors?

I am tired of carrying 2 devices.

I would rather not deal with the "pay as you go" plan and have to call tech support to have this feature blocked.
