We might be moving there and I might have to set up a plan from S. Florida before I leave in order to keep my cell phone number. My understanding is that if I do it there, I will have to get a Charlotte area code, but I can not afford to loose my number at least for the first year. WIth that in mind, I do need to change carriers and perhaps plans. ANy suggestions? THanks

Does anyone know if the V3M will have the customizable interface that Verizon is coming out with? And does anyone know if the battery life will be improved over the V3C?

sprint/nextel ARPU of 62 is excellent, this is not a bash post.

that said was sprints ARPU above 65$ a year ago? Sprint is doing pretty good IMO they have completely changed their image with the removal of PCS from the name, new logo, and new colors. they are doing fine but their ARPU is slowly falling.

Their current plethora of the same old dull flip phones is putting me to sleep. I've been checking their site and visiting their stores for months and nothing ever changes. Dullness rules with Verizon.

Cingular has that great new Motorola, the SLVR which is the bar style version of the RAZR. You think Verizon will get a clue some day?

Ok, I stopped by a vzw store to check things out. This is my experience:
I knew before I went to the store that the phones had the verizonised UI. I really don't think those red lines are that ugly. I didn't play too much with the UI of the phones since I didn't have much time. I think some phones -the ones with small screens- should be left alone. Small screen + Red lines = Even smaller screen... 😲 magnifying glass anyone? ☹️ The store was somewhat busy, they had a girl (who apparently didn't know too much about the phones) was very nice. I asked her a few questions about the phones and I got a blank stare. I asked about how fast Vzw PTT is compared with Nextel's. Some guy who overheard answered my question. Didn't think he was right. ...

i'm running mcafee 8 2006 and get realy slow when browsing phonescoop.com. when i disable "privacy service" phonescoop works normaly. anyone else see this issue. anyway to change some configuration so that i don't have to manualy disable "privacy service" when i want to loot at phonescoop?
