hi all.. just had a couple questions..

1) when you flash the alltel UI to the verizon version, do you lose the get it now (i know you lose the EVDO features, which is fine with me)

and..

2) any rumors of a black RAZR coming? or are they gonna leave it grey and pink?

When I renewed my contract last month (my phone problems finally fixed) I bought my father a pda phone. He picked the samsung i700 due to a very cheap price $150 because it was the last one new in the warehouse. Starting friday it started locking up and randomly turning on by itself. My question is if he brings it to verizon -it is 28 days old- to do a warranty exchange what will happen . They did say it was the last one. He is scared he will get a treo or something and he wants to have ms windows os. Any advice would help. Thanks.

What happened to the Kyocera phones? And for that matter why doesn't VZW have any Sanyo phones? They seem to be doing well for Sprint. Are they exclusive to Sprint?

Can someone tell me what verizon uses for their naming convention on their data devices?

I have a bit of an issue I'm hoping you can help with.
I had a razr that I thought had been stolen a few months ago. I used my insurance and got the phone replaced--I had a new one shipped to me. However, I just found the old phone under the seat of my car! Theoretically, could I give it to my boyfriend (also a verizon customer), or will it come up as stolen? I'm afraid to call Verizon because I'm not sure what they're going to say to me. 🙂

So I want to upgrade my RAZR but I have one hangup... when I NE2 upgraded my phone a month ago the rep never reset my NE2... so I still have it, needless to say I don't want any rep to review my account until I reuse the NE2... mostly likely online.

Do you think if I go in to the store to get the firmware upgrade they might check and see this error? Or will they just take my phone to the back, upgrade me, and send me on my way?

Where is all the inside information on New phone releases. I think Verizon employee's are like Mushrooms. Feed them **** and keep them in the dark!!!!!!!!! hehehehe

What a great company to work for. One thing I will agree on is that they have a great network but the rest of it sucks ass bad! Phone selection bites! Over charge for everything. Please Cingular.....keep working on the network so I can tell Verizon to shove it up their NETWORK! 😛

Any word on when it is coming out to business customers? I thought it was sometime in April.

I pulled up my bill today and one of my lines got charged 20 bucks for an ESN change! Apparently my wife's son went into a Verizon Wireless retail store in Florida and had them do an ESN change for him instead of calling me. WTF and they say that indirects are crooks! I would never charge for an ESN change fee! Retail stores and customer care are turning into crooks. Screwing the customer every chance they can! Why?!?! I have 5 lines with VZW and my bill runs aprox 250 bucks a month and they can't do a simple 2 minute ESN change for FREE?!?!?!? 2 minutes. What next? Are we going to start getting charged if we ask when our upgrade renewal date is? And then charged if we asked what time of day it is? Holy cow!

Can any VERIZON rep give me this info. thanks

I posted this same thread 8 months or so ago and we all brought some good ideas, just wanted to see what the new members could bring to the table.

Wanted to know what all you guys were doing to "think outside the box" and go for those new acts and upgrades, last time crazyeagle and nextel18 had some good ideas, anybody have any good advertising ideas or things you do to get those extra sales?

i posted this on the razr forum but didn't get any replies. i tried going to SETTINGS and TOOLS and pressing '0', '*', and '#' to get to a menu to get to PREF MODE to select CDMA ONLY

none of these worked. any ideas. i don't use EVDO and its killing my bettery life.

I just have my RAZR V3c for five months. There supposed to be an upgraded Razr using the Vcast music. I know it's not time for me to upgrade my phone. My upgrade is October 18, 2007. What if I can't wait for that date and buy a new phone. Will my upgrade for a new phone change or what. Thank you.
