Retro LG VX-4400

I just went retro and activated my 4400. If you could go back and reintroduce a phone from the verizon archive which one and why?
I love the tip calculator, strong vibe, and durable feel of my blue 4400. I also really like the 4500 and 6000.

Charging for best life

I use the Moto V325 more sparingly than most, so it does not need to be charged every day. But will routinely charging it every night impare the battery life? Do these kind of batteries (NiM hydride I think) like to be kept "topped off" or drained down or what?
Thanks!

why oh why oh why????

Just want to know how come it takes Verizon ages to come out with new phones despite all the phones have been approved and we see pictures of them all over the places?

This message is not to whine about Verizon. I just want to know why for personal knowledge. Thanks!

V325 ring light

When the V325 was first launched to the agents (mid January) in the menu for the ring lights the only available was "none". Then in March I was getting ones that had a list of ring lights available. My last order of V325's from Verizon came in with "none" again in the menu. I contacted the local retail store and was told that there was no known fix yet and all the V325's will say none. And the ones that do will say none after it is powered off and on a couple times.

Anyone know the story?

Is this important

I will be going to verizon from sprint and I was wondering if amps analog roaming is really important or if I should just get a dual band digital phone instead? Thanks for your input.

Cingular could suck a golf ball through a gardenhose

Cingular has a slight problem with dropping calls in the area that I live in, and drive through, even when sitting at home with full bars it will drop calls to my voice mail... I don't even have to move, how sweet is that? I have verizon now

Bluetooth Tethering with Verizon

Recently verizon let us add tethering plans to certain EVDO phones. They specifically said we can use USB cables for tethering but not Bluetooth.

I know for a fact you can tether an E815 via bluetooth (or at least some of them) via bluetooth because I have done it. My ipaq flew through data very quickly. Does anyone know if there is any way for them to actually tell if you are connecting via cable or bluetooth? If we have tethering plans, can they do anything about it?

Thanks

great question!!!!!

why doesn't any current VZW phones with the UI have the ability to show the current time while you are on the phone? its so irritating to wonderwhat time of the day it is and having to go through the menu to go the the clock setting and see what time it is...... sheesh!

Is it true?

Me and my fiancee are currently SPRINT users and we are getting tired of our service and our contracts are up in a couple of weeks, and I was wondering if VERIZON is reallt as good as people are saying they are? I have had T-MOBILE, CINGULAR, and now SPRINT and she has only had SPRINT. I know alot of people who have VERIZON and some say they love them and some say they hate them, and was curious what other thought of them. Thanks for any input you might have.

Vzw supports decreasing Wireless Taxes......

At Tax Time, Your Money Shouldn't Go To Pay Excessive Taxes On Wireless Services

04/14/2006

BEDMINSTER, NJ -- This weekend, as millions of Americans put the finishing
touches on their personal tax returns and anticipate federal or state refunds,
it’s time to consider other taxes that you pay. Studies show that anywhere from
10 percent to 25 percent of a wireless consumer’s monthly bill might go to
local, state and federal taxes, fees and government mandates, and wireless
service is almost always taxed at a higher rate than other goods and services.

Verizon Wireless, owner and operator of the nation’s premier wireless network,
is working on behalf of its consumers across the country to seek to eliminate
discriminatory taxes o...
