Here in the Pacific Northwest our 3 focuses are growth, growth and growth. It seems that we are behind the rest of the country in new customer growth. Can anyone tell me why? We have the same phones, priceplans, and everything else that the rest of the country has. I think one of the problems is our network. More than 50% of my market is not EVDO, and some of it is still analog. If we were to 'beef up' the network in all the rural areas of the PNW than I think growth would come. Any other thoughts from the rest of you?

i ported back to verizon this weekend. none of the carriers i tried where even mildly close to verizon. half my family is pissed at me but im now back in the arms of verizon. i was wrong wrong wrong and wrong some more. there is just nothing in my area that comes even close to verizons quality service. i dont want to have to worry about my phone ringing or getting a signal, or my phone heating up. I will never ever ever ever leave verizon again guys. anyone want to give me hug or call me names go ahead im back at verizon and very happy.

okay say you had a 512mb memory card, and the phone had built in 30mb of memory. would your phone's memory be 30mb(built in) PLUS the 512mb(expandable)..or would it cancel out the 30mb and just be 512mb?

Ok, now that Cingular has the most reliable network in NY. How does Vz market in NY? Do they still say they have the most reliable network bs? or do they just say "It's the network" (just curious -not trying to start a flame war)

Is there a website in existance where one could see where towers are located? Like a list or (better yet) something like Google World/Maps?

I've had an ongoing discussion (disagreement) in the Sprint forum concerning roaming charges and policies. Here is Sprint's in writing:

"With unlimited Sprint PCS roaming plans, Sprint may terminate service if a majority of minutes in a given month are used while roaming. Nights (Mon.-Thurs., 7pm to 7am). Weekends (Fri. 7pm to Mon. 7am). Partial minutes are charged as full minutes. With unlimited roaming plans, Sprint may terminate service if a majority of minutes in a given month are used while roaming off of the Sprint PCS Network."


I live in 48768 zip code. I asked Verizon specifically if their policy is similar to Sprint's and if I am limited to calling within their network any specific minimum minutes. They said flat out as long...

ok 1st quarter is almost over, where is this phone?!?! i want to swpa it out for my v710 settlement!!

A couple of questions that won't to throw out for input:

1) Is there an update to the E815 coming out this yearr?

2)Will VZW have a BOGO RAZR sale that includes the Pink one?

3) When might we see the RAZR V3m that seems to have a few of the features that make the E815 attractive?

I have the 6256, and it is a VERY good phone. Reasonably-priced too... its $99 with a 2-yr, and $149 with a 1-yr at CC VZW stores.

But they (just like Best Buy) always seem hide this phone UNDER THE COUNTER. The only time I ever saw one of these puppies on display is during that 3-day 'deal' when CCs first got the phone and were selling it at a special price. After that, bam, back to under the counter.

What's the deal? It almost seems like a conspiracy... you'll never get a 6256 unless you know enough to ask someone to pull it out from its 'super secret hiding place'. What the H?

If so, do you charge sales tax for prepaid payments? I know with the cards we aren't suppose to, but what about datascape?

I saw a post on here one time about an UNLIMITED text package for the hearing Impaired, that is supposed to be something like $39.99 for 100 any times minutes, and UNLIMITED text messaging period. Well, I called customer care to find out about this plan, and if it included the Free Nights/Weekends, or the IN calling or if you could get them or maybe more anytime minutes, and CC told me no such plan exists. So if anyone has heard or knows where the thought or idea of this plan came from, and whether its a joke or real, please let me know or show me the phone # I can call or website I can view this plan on/ Thanx. 😎
